For hard-core triathlon-loving folk, they sell specially designed modern tri-suits, for aquatic people swimming gear and goggles and for those tireless joggers running shoes and heart rate monitors. But it is the cycling aspect of the business which is undeniably the strongest, as they sell a large selection of performance bikes, cycling shoes and clothing, mileometers and other gadgets, and bike repair parts. I went with my dad to get his old road-bike fixed and they had it back to us in a couple of days for what my dad says was a pretty cheap repair cost. If you're unsure about this shop, just tri it. The woman who works there seems friendly and helpful so you can expect good customer service if requiring help with sizes/styles. All parents of school-age children in Meanwood must be very grateful for the existence of this little shop so they don't have to travel further afield to get their kids kitted out for school.

After a bit of time my wife went to ask if she could try on the trainers and when my wife's back was turned the girl gave her friends the most disgusting look about my wife. I have never had such disgusting customer service anywhere and this girl who was young with blonde hair was disgusting. I told her I saw what she had done and we didn't want to try their trainers on. Blouses, shirts, skirts etc can all be bought cheaper elsewhere. It also sells, brownie, scouts, rainbow uniforms here. The only problem with this shop is its on a first floor and there is no lift. So it is unaccesible if you have a pram or are in a wheelchair.

I like going to this place for my sportswear because it is a lot cheaper than other sports stores like JD or JJB. They have major sports brands here like Adidas, Nike and Reebok so you know you are getting good quality stuff. This shop has been running for over 36 years so you know it is a good place. The staff are excellent here and will help you in whatever you are looking for. They are owned by Loofe's Clothing, who have 4 stores in the Manchester area, which all have different names, this includes two stores in Bury, one in Warrington and this store in Middleton. They have a small range of sports-wear including trainers and football shirts of Manchester's major club, and a club from Trafford, who just share the Manchester half of the name. This store is only quite small, and with the new addition of SportsDirect and a similar store across the way, Branded and an increased number of clothing/fashion shops in Middleton, including a relocated Daniel Christian Menswear, there isn't really a lot here to look at. The staff seem okay, but they don't seem as helpful and as knowledgeable as larger stores, such as Clarks in the shoes department for example. The branding of this store is also a little strange, with the company owning 4 stores but having them all under different names, meaning people probably wouldn't know they are visiting a store owned by Simon One, if the go to a different branch and despite being a well known name to Residents of Middleton, if you ask anyone else, they simply wouldn't have a clue and brand recognition is important to succeed, even if there is only 4 stores in 3 towns, this could increase sales and people wanting to go to stores in the whole brand. Overall, this store over time has been getting worse and worse as the competition has been growing in Middleton and getting better, and better. At one point in time, this store could have got 3 stars but as competition improves, sadly this store doesn't and now compared to the rest of Middleton, unless a major revamp happens it just is another unneeded shop, and sadly deserves a single one star.

Trust me, I looked up trampolining --not because it's the latest trend in exercise, although it is-- but because I've wanted to get my bounce on for aaaaaages. The only other place in Leeds that I could find looks like it's basically for kids, which is a shame as they have the proper big trampolines. Anyway. This place? So much more than just bouncing. There is trampoline basket ball, trampoline jump in a foam pit, trampoline dodge ball... there's even a tight rope thing you can practice balance on. I love it! They've got a parkour thing in the works too, which is super exciting. Although, the guy didn't really seem to get me when I checked if there would be lessons and if those lessons would be cool for a not-teenager. Whatever I want to run up things. Staff all seem to be about 18. It does smell a little bit like boy and Lynx. But, forget that and just get your bounce on. My friend and I actually spent the first five minutes squealing and bouncing as high and/or as fast as we could until we both collapsed. How do kids DO IT?! Pro tip: warm up a bit. The air in there is super cold which makes your chest hurt if you go nuts like we did. One last question: what is it with alternative exercise places, lasers, and nineties dance music? I mean, weird. But I guess I like it too. DO IT. It's a tenner an hour. Don't go on weekends if you don't want to be surrounded by childs.
