A bit bland was one response. Too doughy, was my friend's thoughts on her pizza. Another's chips were soggy and old. We were almost surprised that these meals weren't as impressive as every other part of our experience had been. What was going to be a 5 star rating suddenly turned into about a 3.5 star rating. Overall it was an enjoyable few hours, Christopher's just about ticked every box. Maybe the chef was just having a bad day.

I really like the atmosphere of this place, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and sat outside, but even on cooler days the outside area is under cover and from memory there is an outdoor heater. There are bench tables and smaller tables to choose from as well as some indoor seating, it's nice and cosy. I will definitely come back here to try the burger menu! He made a couple of gin drinks for ourselves and was actually the first bartender in the country who knew what a "shirley temple" drink was, which we ordered for our daughter. We were impressed. The bar was pretty well-stocked and eye-appealing. A nice place for us to rest our tired feet and enjoy drinks with nice company for some pleasant conversations. Highly recommended.
