The first Lego store in Canada!! As you can imagine the place is insanely busy with ankle biters running around everywhere. From the looks of the Lego website, this store is a little smaller than most but from my experience, you will most likely find what you're looking for. The walls are lined with every Lego set you could imagine. In the middle of the floor they have various stations with activities for kids to play with the famous bricks. Also at one of the stations you can build your own mini figs (Lego men) priced at 3 for $12.99. You can choose from a large variety of heads, legs, bodies, hair/hats, and tools/accessories. The Saturday that I was in I counted about 6-8 staff. They were all very friendly and helpful and had waaaaay more patience than I ever could being stuck in that maze of crazy. The best part of the store is the wall of loose bricks at the back. We've all had that moment where we've searched and searched through the gigantic bucket of Lego for that one illusive piece. Well now if you truly can't find it, just hop over to the Lego store and buy it. The wall of bricks has different sized buckets that you can fill for a flat price. Don't forget to become a Lego VIP member. It's free. For every dollar you spend you get one point. 100 points can be redeemed for $5 off your purchase. Currently they're running a promotion for the month of October for double the points, and also you get 25 bonus points when you register your membership online.

What's not to love about Lego? The Lego store - Every kid and grown man's dream!!!!! Stopped in since my little guy wanted to get more Star Wars Lego. This store, doesn't matter what time of day or day of the week, is always busy. You would think they are giving it away free? The staff at this store is fantastic. Spoke with Troy for a while and he knows his stuff! My son was in awe on how cool he was and most of all, how much he knew about Lego. Lego nerds rejoice. I wish this store was just a bit bigger since it's always so busy, but they do have a great selection of Lego products! I also like that they have the pick and build and in two sizes so you can load up on all the colors and pieces of Lego you may need for that special project. Great concept. Will be back...again and again.

Some wooden puzzles, inclusive dolls, fun craft projects, a fidget device that could be taken to school and some animal toys. The variety is colourfully overwhelming and I almost got dizzy from turning in circles to take everything in. I'd be terrified to take kids here as I wanted one of everything and I haven't been a kid in decades! I will absolutely be back.

My Wife and I took our extremely well behaved 3 year old grandson there on his birthday to pick out a toy and as children do he left three items on the floor where he had been looking at them and before I had a chance to pick them up the Ogre of the store aggressively told us to contain our child as he was not going to allow him to "ransack" his store. I asked him what his problem was as our Grandson was not running unattended nor ransacking to which he said THEY are not allowed to touch things because it leaves marks and then other people will not buy them. He continued babbling on in a very condescending manner at which point we advised him that the items we had already selected we no longer wanted and we left. My Wife told me later the Toy Nazi treated her the same way a few years ago when she shopped there with our other Grandson We went on to have a very positive experience at the Discovery Hut in Chinook Mall where the staff had no issue picking up things stating "it's part of our job, they are kids and this IS a Toy Store afer all" They also appreciated the $200 we spent that I am so thankful we didn't give to Hastle Toys!

The selection of games is impressive and you could spend a lot of time browsing. My only beef is…read morethat most of the games on the wall units are faced sideways so you have to tilt your head to read the boxes. It's a little brutal and takes away from the fun of looking. I found myself spending more time checking out games in the middle of the store. There were a lot I've never seen before and a few would be really great for parties because they are simple and don't require a board. The staff person didn't address me at all and mostly hung out in the store entrance, watching the mall folk. It seemed a little weird. You certainly won't encounter a pushy salesman here. Games People Play is, like I said, a fan-flippin-tastic store that carries not only every game you played growing up, but every game you've imagined, desired and craved. For instance, they carry a selection of Monopoly games that I hadn't even dreamt of. I'm talkin' 'Chocolate-Opoly', 'Brew-Opoly' and 'Dino-Opoly'. Where else are you going to find a million different kinds of one of your favourite childhood games? Plus do you remember the glow-in-the-dark stars and planets we used to post on our ceilings growing up? Well, this place has got those, along with puzzles, card games, board games and cribbage galore. The staff is ouber helpful and it's hard not to spend hours on end here reliving your childhood. I absolutely love this store. The next time I'm hosting a party, ALL the entertainment will be courtesy of this gem of a store.
