I used to frequent this place my first few years of college and it was always a great time! They have sports games/matches on in the day and music at night. It has the reputation of being kind of an "American bar" but it's because mostly Americans go there. This is a great place for students who are studying abroad to go and meet new people from different schools. If you're kind of shy, this is also a good place to break the ice. The drink prices are probably the cheapest I have seen in Florence and the bartenders are super laidback. If you have a drink in mind, they could make it. I used to hear a lot of complaints about them being rude but honestly, don't act entitled and you'll be just fine ;) treat the employees like decent human beings and they'll hook you up beyond fair. If you're a broke college student, they have deals on food throughout the week but I suggest the wings. If you get them extra crispy, I promise you'll love them! read more

90% American Patrons. Drinks were decent but when the bartender tells you to check your tab CHECK IT!!! Look at the prices not just the drink quantities. We found out that we were just more stupid Americans after we already paid and then double checked the menu. We were charged €4 for each €3 shot and €18 for what should have been €16 for top shelf cocktails. Just be aware. read more

Fine for a pint of Guiness or a cocktail... but not really what I would characterize as an Irish Pub. Yes - the theme is "Irish," but the actual service, ambiance, and clientele is American College Student Studying Abroad and Here to Get Sh*t-faced. The bathroom (a single stall for both "Fir" and "Mna") starts out clean and gets progressively grottier throughout the day. It always smells fairly nasty, early and late: I suspect the urine scent is soaked into the wood and can't be removed. Staff is friendly and attentive, even to non-college-aged guests, so that's a nice thing. We got smiling service each time we visited, and on our third visit they knew our drink orders without asking. We didn't order food in the bar, but did get an order of ribs from their odd little faux food truck around the corner. The ribs were serviceable and filling. The accompanying coleslaw was very mayo-y and made with purple cabbage, which kind of freaked my husband out. ;-) So why did I visit three times if it's only a three-star joint? Because my husband drinks Guinness, and only Guinness, so... it was kind of obligatory. FWIW, I would go back if I were ever in Florence again. read more

About 9/10 pm a bunch of study aboard students showed up. It's not a bad spot but definitely not a place I wanted to stay at too long. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. Literally such a bad vibe in here. Walked in and asked the bar tender if they recommended anything and they were just like "I don't know", ended up asking for a vodka coke and I received a vodka Pepsi but the Pepsi came from a half empty bottle and was flat! My friend got a vodka soda and that was flat as well. 7 euros each. Super gross haha. We went to go sit outside which was a nice seating area but when we went inside the energy, environment and vibes were sooo weird. I Graduated college a month ago and typically wouldn't think anything of this place but this bar was filled with American study abroad college students. Everyone looks soooo young. Definitely under the US drinking age lol. When trying to go to the bathroom every time I opened the door the girls on the inside pushed it shut. There was only one stall connected to a communal sink and we were shut out of both. Took 15 minutes, we think they were doing dr*gs tbh haha. Overall just weird. My girlfriend and I came here and ordered drinks from the bar, good overall. We decided to then order wings and nachos at the food window. We watched the employee reach into the bucket of RAW chicken with no gloves on and then proceed to make our nachos, without washing his hands. This place is so nasty!!!!! I was there on a crowded night and one of the female bartenders was clearly very sick and coughing horribly in her hands all night! Who even does that???? Especially in the service industry!! She would literally cough in her hands then immediately take straws and put them in people's drinks. After coming back for a second round of drinks and seeing her continue to do this, I talked to another male bartender to tell him what was going on. He apologized, then did nothing about it and when we were leaving she was still working and still coughing everywhere. Absolutely horrifying.
