Located on Taylors Arm Rdm, Macksville about 42km from Nambucca Heads. We decided to stop by here…read morefor lunch on our long drive back to Sydney. It is located literally in the middle of nowhere! Our GPS told us the spot it would be but we had to drive for a further 3 mins before we came across it. You can definitely spot their handmade sign before you pull into the carpark. YES, they do still serve beer! We arrived at 11.45am, So we decided it was early enough to grab a beer and to order our food. They have Murray's beer on tap. For lunch we got the Pub with no beer burger with chips and sausage, peas, mash and gravy. Food was quick and good. The place was so quiet! We thought it would be busy because it was Sunday lunch but you had more tourists arriving then locals. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a lots of tables to choose from to sit, either indoor, outdoor and on the verandah/porch. The furniture on the verandah looks to be hand made with stools carved out of tree trunks! Very arty. Glad to say that we crossed this pub off our list! :)
