There are also flowers, animals, and a dia de los muertos skeletal woman. I love all their vibrant colors. I own some of these. (Purchased elsewhere.) I have had mine for a little over a year. Their colors do hold up to the blazing Arizona sun. Inside are metal and ceramic wall hangings. Some of the figures include lizards, suns, cattle skulls, cacti, and Indigenous dancers. People typically hang these figures outdoors. They could be hung inside as well. These items really add a pop of color. Bordertown also has the items easily found at giftshops located throughout Arizona and the Southwest. Even within Goldfield Ghost Town. T-shirts, hats, mugs, sheriff badges, knives, and home decor in Southwest motifs. There is a selection of Native American pottery. Souvenirs for both adults and children. Lots of fun items to look at/purchase. Prices are reflective of being in a tourist attraction. Some items are more expensive here than in neighboring shops. Some items are not found at the other Goldfield shops. Sign posted that all sales are final.

(All pun intended. ) Pieces range in size from a fingernail to clusters over a foot tall. Most fossils are of smaller organisms. No dinosaurs bones here. Fossils are located in the jewelry counter, and around the store. Blue Nugget also has the largest selection of Native American jewelry in Goldfield Ghost Town. Multiple cases of jewelry, along with pieces hanging on the walls. It is an impressive selection. Employees are ready to not just sell jewelry but also give background information about the artist. Dream catchers found here are not limited to the standard design. Many have unique center patterns. Blue Nugget has their share of touristy items as well. They try to stay on brand with those being Southwest and South American themed products. A good portion of the items for children are touristy. A selection of prickly pear and spicy foods, mugs, shirts, small polished rocks/geodes, books, and mass produced jewelry. The list goes on. Commercially made jewelry is displayed seperate from the handmade pieces. This store is well stocked with merchandise. Items are thoughtfully arranged to maximize the space. Shelving matches the old west building they are housed. Historic look and the plethora of products are decor all on their own. When it comes to prices, for the most part, Blue Nugget has the other stores beat. Some of the best prices for a giftshop. Signs declaring this fact are not wrong. I wasn't expecting a giftshop in the ghost town to have such non tourist items. This giftshop could hold it's own outside of a tourist attraction. Blue Nugget is a great resource for gifts. There is no fee to park or enter the ghost town. Especially if looking for fossils or Native American jewelry, I recommend paying a visit to Blue Nugget.

It's like an indoor swapmeet and very nice people run this place! I walked around for a bit & finally found two cute pairs of earrings to buy. I believe in supporting and shopping local businesses and the opportunity in doing so is totally worth it!
