After the move to our new house, I noticed damages to our freezer and reached out to Thaddeus at Move Buster. Thaddeus assured me that this was covered by insurance, however, despite claims that a check was coming, after a whole month later, I still have not received this "check". I've tried calling and emailing Move Busters, unfortunately they have not responded. Tip: Make sure you check your furniture, appliances, moving items before the moving crew leaves!

All of my questions and concerns leading up to the move were addressed quickly. The staff members on the other end of my phone calls and emails were all so friendly. My packers, Alex M and Tristan B, were awesome! Alex K let me know right away that the 3-5 hours estimate I was provided would not be enough time to pack the number of household items I had. They got the job done as quickly as they could and even left me a few boxes for those "last minute" items. I appreciated their diligence and especially how easy they were to work with. My movers, Mike K and Mateo K, were phenomenal! Friendly, efficient and transparent. Mike K's immediate assessment of the size of the POD I rented versus the amount of room I actually needed for my household items was addressed up front and a solution was found. They even agreed to load their truck with those "overflow" items and transport them to the storage unit I was able to rent "on the fly." These guys were total lifesavers! They care about your stuff and ensure that it gets to the destination without any damage. We worked with a previous moving company a few years back and it was an absolute nightmare start to finish. You get what you pay for 100% so always remember that. Though they may be a little higher than other quotes you may get- it's 100% worth it in the end to ensure that all of your stuff is intact and in good condition when it arrives. We found Al and his team (David and Antonio, I think?) to be very accommodating. Not only were we in need of help on a Sunday, but it was snowing (so that means freezing cold, wet and icy), Al was located an hour away, and we have a long flight of stairs in our new townhome. It says something about a company that provides exemplary service despite that many potential obstacles. On the day of the move, Al's team was running a little late due to the weather, which was fine. He called well ahead of time to let us know and kept us updated on his ETA. Once his team arrived, they got straight to it. My husband and I directed while the 3 of them unloaded, non-stop for 2 hours. They laid a plastic covering over our carpets and the walkways they would be traveling (to protect the flooring), they were very careful in their placement of boxes and larger items, they assisted in putting together our furniture, and they were friendly and a pleasure to engage with. I can't say enough nice things about these guys; would definitely recommend them.

We have moved with this company more than a handful of times. This last time, however, I was not…read morepleased. If it had been our first we never would've had a second time with them. I'm giving them a three because I did have some four and five star experiences even though this one was not. But I want to caution people...couple of things, you have to wrap your own things in plastic. They use the same old quilt coverings to cover your furniture. These coverings sit on the floor of their truck when not in use. I didn't like that a lot of stuff was stacked on top of my leather and suede furniture. Left indentations and a scrape that I can't seem to get rid of. (Even though I wrapped my furniture in protective coverings myself.) They were late the morning of unloading because they didn't realize where they needed to be in terms of city... but the biggest beware is, I took photos of all my items and rooms and sent them all to the business so they could plan what size truck to bring. At the end of the loading day, they came to my husband and said that not everything was going to fit. I can't believe that nobody checked a couple of hours before, did a walk around through the house to see what was left. So they left our old house 3 1/2 hours away to go to our new house with not everything in tow. There was no Plan B. Initially, the owner blamed me for requesting a certain size truck like I would know what size truck, my stuff would fit in! The owner kept asking what I wanted them to do. Well I wanted them to go back and get my stuff. But then they couldn't fit in a date and yes, I would've had to pay more for them to do that. So my husband had to get a truck and find a guy to go back to get the rest of our belongings! Very stressful after moving being very stressful in itself. Very disappointing. I was able to talk to the owner about this. But after talking with so many people about it afterward, who were just shocked by how the whole thing was handled, I thought I better write a review just as a heads up. Friends that I have talked to said that when their movers (not this company) got there, they walked around the house before they even started loading to make sure they brought the right size truck, and one friend said the company sent another truck within 15 minutes of arriving at their house. Another option would've been for us to get a heads up so a U-Haul or other trailer could've been rented so no one would've left the area and had to travel back. Again, I'm just encouraging you to think about all this stuff and I'm encouraging the company to have a Plan B in place for things like this.
