Beware: My storage rent started at $343.00 3 years ago (4/2023) and is now $530.00. It They know your only option is to pay or move. I have also had numerous items destroyed by mice. I asked if the money I pay for "insurance" covers that but, of course it doesn't. I would mind the continued increases if my property was being protected. Addendum: The manager called me and offered to move me to another unit. He also said he would call pest control. I'm pleased with the response. read more

Office staff was very nice and helpful in setting up a unit for us. Then down hil from there, seemed as though every couple of months they raised the rent and not just a couple buck! Buyer Beware the place is infested with mice!!! Had several units here and both were run thru by mice! Been in several outside storage places thru out my life and never been like this! read more

Problem is they continue to increase your rent. I was charged $100 more than a new customer. Just be aware.

I had a great experience renting two units! The gentleman at the desk had the patience of Job with me! He opened everything then checked weekend contact and realized I had reserved two larger units. The Lock Up Self Storage in S. Yarmouth was THE best!! I looked at a few storage locations in the area, and chose The Lock Up. The entire facility is clean, maintained, and safe. What I thought would be a year of storing my things ended up being a few years, but it was an easy decision because of the service here. I would recommend the Lock Up to anyone. Good for interim or short term storage but long term look elsewhere. Rates increase 6-10% or $8/month. That's a lot. In two years I've gone from $86/month to $102. Time to move on. read more

We have rented various size units over the past two years. Quite expensive, but you are paying for the mid Cape location, near the highway, long operating hours. Unfortunately they do not refund your money even when you vacate after the first week of the month! Make sure you read the fine print of the contract. We even saw a woman living there this summer( in a storage unit)! read more

The Lock Up in Yarmouth is great. I returned there to store my belongings again and the manager remembered me and it made the process very quick and easy. The only negative I can say is trying to speak to someone at the actual site versus their call center, it was easier for me to drive there and speak directly to Annette. Overall once again a good experience. read more
