I have lived here for 6 years, and I am going to do my best to explain why I gave a five star review, and address the concerns some of the other commenters have made. I live in a top floor (3rd floor) 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment, with a patio. I have 1 outdoor parking space, and 1 full size garage. The unit has vaulted ceilings in the living/family room, and an open floor plan kitchen with a large amount of cabinet space and an island. The unit has track lighting in the vaulted ceiling & kitchen, and full LED light bulbs in all other lighting fixtures. My rent is just under $1,500 a month, + $50-70 dollars a month for utilities (sewer+water+trash), and I pay between $80-100 dollars a month for electric; I have quite a few electronics in my apartment, + an air conditioner and HEPA filters that bring my electric bill above average. Star 1: Large, well designed, beautiful apartments Star 2: Quiet, easy to navigate, community Star 3: Very friendly front office staff, including the maintenance Star 4: Regular hourly patrols by an outside security firm that begin once the front office and maintenance crew have left for the day (6pm) Star 5: Beautiful man-made lake that is regularly stocked with farm trout, and has a full running/walking trail along the perimeter. In addition to this the trail connects to the Salish Wetlands Preserve, with fully maintained walking/running trails leading into Fairview Village proper, and to local businesses. General complaints from most reviewers: Parking - Parking is very rarely an issue for residents; the lack of "free" parking does fill up quick, and is intended specifically for guests of residents. I have yet to find another luxury apartment complex that has challenge free guest parking, and the Lodges does the best they can with the space available. In addition to this if you have multiple vehicles you can rent a garage for just over $100 a month; I have researched multiple full size garage options from other apartment complexes, and the few independent garages in the area; the Lodges come in at genuinely 1/3 to 1/2 less than other options for a garage. The garages are also lit, with remote access, and have extra space for storage. If you can afford two vehicles and to live here you can afford a garage. Crime: I have lived here for six years; I have two bikes; an advanced full carbon frame cyclocross bike, and a little aluminium frame street commuter. They have been stored on my patio, locked up downstairs, or in my garage. My garage has been accidentally (my fault) left open overnight or for a full afternoon. In addition to this I have two BMW's, one which is kept in the garage, and one in an outdoor space, and have not once had my apartment, vehicle, or garage, broken into. Anonymous complaints from neighbours: I'm not sure where this is coming from. I have, again, lived here for 6 years and not once had a complaint filed against my unit. I also can't recall ever hearing my neighbours through the walls, and the few times I've interacted with them it has always been pleasant and friendly. I'm not an older individual, or a super young university student. I am 29, and my spouse is 30. Neither of us has had to file a complaint, or had one filed against us, as far as memory serves. Parking along the street, and by the front office: I have heard of (but not seen) cars being broken into in these areas. However there's something a lot of reviewers do not point out; the parking area by the main office, and along the street, are not owned/maintained by the Lodges. It is public property, owned by the city of Fairview, and despite multiple efforts to work with the city to improve the security of the area they have hit roadblocks at the local government level. There is literally nothing the lodges can do about this, and honestly it's not their property so why should they be expected to? Attend your city counsel meetings if you want to promote positive change; this isn't rocket science. read more

I have lived at Lodges for 11 years and just moved out. Let me warn you about this place 1.The old saying don't judge a book by it's cover WRONG!!!! the outside of all the buildings the trim is rotted and there are holes in the trim wide open for rain to get in it is going to cost at least 1-2 million if not more to fix many of the decks are unsafe one already is being held up by 4x4's and some are coming apart because of gutters overflowing on your outside deck. 2.Office staff many are very very cold once your in, if you get direct with you they will blow you off. 3. Fireplace they are supposed to put out heat many are broken and can NOT be repaired so the fireplace is useless ASK!! 4. Parking is the most screwed up thing you will ever see many of you will NOT be able to park where you live and as far as the parking sticker they may or may not give you one are USELESS!!! they don't care!!! As far as having a guest park near by FORGET IT!!!!Almost everyone has 2 cars 5.Noise you better be deaf or you will go nuts with all the dogs and kids which I love both however when you want to sleep or rest GOOD LUCK!!! 6.When I moved out I had a cleaner come in and clean everything and they screwed me out of $130 out of $250 to clean it LIE!!! after 11 years one would think they would have clean and to replace carpet which they tried to charge me to clean all the carpet and linoleum they replace rule is after 5 years they have to do it.DON"T be fooled by this place, when you drive in it's all pretty but as you go farther back it gets crappy WARNING!!!!! LOOK VERY VERY CLOSELY!!!!!!The lakes are ponds brings in lots of sketchy folks lot's of theft and dumpster diving GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this property manager. From the beginning of our interaction, she was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. My concerns were ignored, and I was treated with a lack of basic respect and courtesy. As someone who works in property management myself, I understand the importance of communication, customer service, and professionalism. Unfortunately, none of those qualities were demonstrated during this interaction. There was no effort to listen, assist, or provide any meaningful support. What was most concerning was the complete lack of human decency and accountability. Residents and prospective tenants deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of the situation. I am very unhappy with how this matter was handled and would like a manager or supervisor to contact me as soon as possible to discuss this experience. This level of service is unacceptable and does not reflect the standards I would expect from a professional property management company. 1 star is being nice. read more

I recently went through a divorce and moved into my first apartment about a year ago. From the first moment I walked into the main office I felt welcomed. The management staff is the best I've ever seen! They've been friendly, genuine people. They've had a couple parties in the clubhouse since I've lived here that have been super fun! They even give my dog a treat when I come into the office! The maintenance team is fast, efficient, and friendly. I've had to use them on a couple of occasions and completed the job within the same day. The apartments are up to date and the neighbors have been friendly too. I commute to Beaverton for work each day, but I can't see myself moving out of this place any time soon. I love it here! read more

This is a great place to live. Even with a room mate, the design of the apartments has lots of space and never feels cramped. I also like the fact that they are well built and you don't hear every little noise coming from your neighbors. The location feels like a gated community because of the lake and the security patrols and running trails. I like being able to run here instead of having to drive somewhere. It's nice to have this little oasis here since the area has become so built up and noisy all around. When something needs to be fixed, the office is all over it, which is a nice change from other places I've lived! read more

There is a nice setting here with the lake and trails, this really gives you a comfortable feeling. It's great to come home and walk the dogs and unwind in what feels like a private park. Its hard to find a pet friendly place now a days without a catch to it in terms of fees. This was never an issue here, my dogs love it. My apartment has vaulted ceilings and walk in closets so it feels huge. Enough space to be cool with a roomate. The office has been great with everything I've needed so far. I read the reviews about small parking spaces and they seem normal size to me. read more

I really like my apartment here. The office was really helpful with giving me a week free for my move in. It's large and has high ceilings. The view of Mt. Hood from the deck is pretty on clear days. Being able to walk my dog around the lake on the property is a huge plus. Affordable and great property. read more

I lived in these apartments for two years. They are quite, comfortable and awesome! The best part of them is their staff! The staff is top rated, Karen is the manager and if you call her with a problem she is on it and it gets corrected! Thank you so much Karen you are the best! read more
