Then he had the check written directly to his law firm without my name as an FBO or as a payee. I had to request a copy of the check several times, but still do not know if there were other checks or even if the release that he showed me was valid. I asked Chad if he knew who had signed the release for the defendant and his reply was that he had no idea. I plan to file a complaint with the bar because something doesn't feel right about this. Seems unethical but I don't know that for sure. Maybe he treats all of his clients this way? I don't recommend this firm.
