I asked God to be thete otherwise no 1 would've felt Holy Spirit there. They catered lunh to celebrate a staff member. All were invited so I came to that. A family was going to sit with me but chose not to. It turned out the whole time I was there the congregation chose not to interact with me, parents made sure to keep theirkids away from me. So I had a whole table to myself. They purposed not to interact with me for the whole 30 mins I was there.As an adult there was no chaos at my table by comparison but by biblical definition God would have been disappointed at such a poor reflection of his church if this was supposed to be it. At theend of dessert I was finally invited to sit at a table and it was reiterated repeatedly that " we dont do this everyday" , feeding the curch and the public simultanepusly. If you prefer a majority all white church that has trouble " accepting change" then this is for you . Rest of us who bleed blood and have multi ethnic families are better of in the Presence of God elsewhere.

We have mens bible study on Friday mornings and ladies bible study on Thursday evenings. There is also walking salvation on Wednesday & Saturdays. Pastor Brian also has his sermons simulcast on Wednesdays on the AM radio station. Thats how I was introduced to this church. They are a very community/neighborhood oriented church. Lots of family activities for everyone. They are located next to a park so great place to picnic after service with your kids!aaand there are lots of kids and babies! I had the privilege of hearing their pastor speak before he passed away from cancer last month. What a strong faithful man! This church is strong and faithful thru their sorrow. Brandon, the pastor and parochial vicar who are from the Franciscans of Mary, a community devoted to spreading the spirituality of gratitude. They bring real life, present topics that may be challenging to discuss and incorporate it into the gospel. They are also friendly, warm and are always smiling which is needed in our churches. The church and grounds are also very clean. There is a beautiful fountain outside facing the altar, and there are small garden seating areas. The church hours are also excellent with confession times available most days of the week, and the church itself is open daily throughout the day if you want to come in and pray or maybe you have had a long stressful day and need a little peace and calm.

Until now, we could not find a church that met our criteria or needs. Beacon Church has checked every box on our list and more. 1. We felt that the Pastor Bryce and his wife, Shelbie as well as all the other members of the church took genuine effort to get to know our family and make us feel welcomed. When we experienced a hardship, we received multiple texts from people in the church providing us with prayer, love, and support. We were offered meals and help with running errands. 2. They provide wonderful childcare for the little ones during service. Our 2 year old daughter loved Sunday school and looks forward to it every week. We trust and feel safe leaving our daughter in their hands while we enjoy service. 3. They create a sense of community and family within the church and neighborhood. We are remembered and greeted excitedly by name when we attend church. The church has held multiple family friendly events in the neighborhood including family movie night at the park, a kite festival, and colorfest event. 4. We feel welcomed and not intimidated at all for where we are in our walk with faith. My husband and I are in different parts of our journey in regards to our faith and neither of us have ever felt pressured or intimated by anyone at the church or Pastor Bryce's sermons. They meet us where we're at and support and encourage us needed. I can go on and on about how much we love Beacon Church.
