I am somewhat new to this church. I have been attending for a few years. I really like the…read morecomfortable and non-judgmental atmosphere and the messages from the pastors. But what I like the most is that it is a Scripture-based church. No fluff. They just study different books of the Bible throughout the year. Not only have I learned a lot, it has encouraged me to do my own reading at home and I feel more established in my faith! I haven't experienced the groups yet and I don't have kids so I cannot comment children programs, but I have been really happy making this place my home.

I asked God to be thete otherwise no 1 would've felt Holy Spirit there. They catered lunh to celebrate a staff member. All were invited so I came to that. A family was going to sit with me but chose not to. It turned out the whole time I was there the congregation chose not to interact with me, parents made sure to keep theirkids away from me. So I had a whole table to myself. They purposed not to interact with me for the whole 30 mins I was there.As an adult there was no chaos at my table by comparison but by biblical definition God would have been disappointed at such a poor reflection of his church if this was supposed to be it. At theend of dessert I was finally invited to sit at a table and it was reiterated repeatedly that " we dont do this everyday" , feeding the curch and the public simultanepusly. If you prefer a majority all white church that has trouble " accepting change" then this is for you . Rest of us who bleed blood and have multi ethnic families are better of in the Presence of God elsewhere.

I've been coming here now for over a month…read more I will never forget Pastor Kyle from my home church The Crossing last year sharing he was called to another state. Tears fell and I just remembered praying for him his family and the new journey. I was sad when I began to go to church and it was not the same and my grandkids there mom didn't feel the same about it. I began looking for a church since than. Over 3-4 months of giving other places a chance. We were hoping to stay close to natomas because I wanted to be sure my grandkids still stayed involved. Sadly we weren't finding a church to call home. I dropped to my knees and prayed God would direct my steps to find the right place for my family. A mom who has lived 5 years of grief and knows the understanding that surpasses all understanding a volunteer in our church for the kids teenagers and knowing God had a plan yet not known. I knew my nephew was going here and told my husband let's give it a try. Immediately the day I came was different it was not the normal service usually had but it was full of prayer and God spoke to me to get up and pray for my 26 year old younger friend who started with a migraine to short term memory not lasting more than 10 minutes. I was able to pray over my grandkids and the season my family is finding our new home. Service is blessed you feel God here. I've shared the Sundays with friends everywhere and brought a childhood friend in for Easter. We are at our new home

Today was the Freedom celebration they do every year to honor veterans and those currently serving…read more in the military. We do the pledge of Allegiance to the US flag as well as the Christian flag and sing the national anthem etc. They also have those who served speak about their service and their struggles and what it means to fight for our country. They salute and march and at the end of the church service you go up and shake everyones hands and thank them for serving our country. This is a very special service and they decorate the church for the upcoming holiday! The church parking lot has a fireworks booth you can go support and purchase from. This evening they have a celebration with fireworks, water slides, food for purchase and they are doing a raffle to auction off a huge amount of fireworks for $5-$20 purchased in raffle tickets! Glad to finally be back, they were so welcoming! They make you feel like family! Prayer starts at 10:00 AM, service starts at 10:15 AM and ends at 12:00 PM! Breakfast and coffee are complimentary! They offer kids classes and have 2 playgrounds as well! And after service we all go out to eat and socialize together! Monthly delicious BBQs, Camps and other fun events as well!
