The rooms themselves are so high quality and realistic it doesn't even feel like an escape room! My group had so much fun solving the puzzles and looking for clues. The room was well thought out and had a solid story line. I have no idea how this place isn't famous yet, it is definitely Charleston's secret gem. I have tried many escape rooms in different cities and this is definitely my favorite. I highly recommend to anyone considering coming! We did the Hunters Revenge room and everything worked really well, the puzzles were smart and took time and thought. The room was well monitored by the staff, clues were provided as needed in a timely fashion. The real thing I want to focus on is the time and effort put in by the staff to make this a great player experience. The set design was great, good story, just a lot of time and care was put into this and it was worth it. I've gone to some crummy escape rooms that are clearly just thrown together, the people running this have a passion for escape rooms, as a player it shows.

Locked and Coded saved our weekend and inspired us to make the most of our Saturday night. Novices to escape rooms, we dove head-first into the Wicked Cavern, the only 9/10 difficulty room. It was way beyond our abilities, but fun nonetheless. The staff members were incredibly nice and helpful from booking to finish (we did not win, for anyone wondering). While we probably won't be visiting Charleston again, I would recommend it to anyone staying or passing by looking for something fun to do.

The guy was awesome (8/19 around 1 pm) We did the Scare Bnb and failed terribly. We had fun though! We had to redeem ourselves and went back again to do the Bunker which we passed - yay! After finishing a hike and grabbing a bite to eat, we gave them a call to see if they had availability. To our surprise, they did, and they were able to fit us in last-minute. At first, only two of us were ready to take on the challenge, but a third family member joined in, and thankfully, the room we chose could accommodate 2-4 players. From the moment we stepped in, the theming was immersive and the puzzles were engaging--challenging enough to keep us thinking but not frustrating. The room master did a great job of providing just the right hints at the right time, keeping the experience exciting without giving too much away. We managed to escape with just 25 seconds to spare, which made for an incredible adrenaline rush! The cost was very reasonable, and honestly, this has been one of the most fun and memorable parts of our trip so far. If you're in the area and looking for something unique and engaging, definitely check out the Escape-A-Torium!

I'm always looking for things for my kids to do instead of staring at a screen so I took him, a…read morecouple of his friends (11/yo), and my daughter (8/yo) to Psychopath Escape Room for his birthday. We did the North Pole Meltdown Room. We had a great time and they can't stop talking about it. It was challenging but there are certainly things that kids of that age group can do or share in doing to exercise their hands and their brains. None of us had ever done a room before so some things were challenging for me as well but the staff will provide hints if requested. The staff was polite and helpful and did a great job briefing us on what to expect in the room. We are already talking about going back again, this time to do the Saving Sarg room. Great way for friends and/or families to spend some quality time and accomplish a goal together. They didn't have enough souvenir keychains for North Pole for our group but not that big of a deal. It looks like you can purchase them online but I'd say most people (including myself) would be more likely to purchase on site immediately after the experience. Great place. Looking forward to doing another room soon.
