We did the North Pole Meltdown Room. We had a great time and they can't stop talking about it. It was challenging but there are certainly things that kids of that age group can do or share in doing to exercise their hands and their brains. None of us had ever done a room before so some things were challenging for me as well but the staff will provide hints if requested. The staff was polite and helpful and did a great job briefing us on what to expect in the room. We are already talking about going back again, this time to do the Saving Sarg room. Great way for friends and/or families to spend some quality time and accomplish a goal together. They didn't have enough souvenir keychains for North Pole for our group but not that big of a deal. It looks like you can purchase them online but I'd say most people (including myself) would be more likely to purchase on site immediately after the experience. Great place. Looking forward to doing another room soon.

The rooms themselves are so high quality and realistic it doesn't even feel like an escape room! My group had so much fun solving the puzzles and looking for clues. The room was well thought out and had a solid story line. I have no idea how this place isn't famous yet, it is definitely Charleston's secret gem. I have tried many escape rooms in different cities and this is definitely my favorite. I highly recommend to anyone considering coming! We did the Hunters Revenge room and everything worked really well, the puzzles were smart and took time and thought. The room was well monitored by the staff, clues were provided as needed in a timely fashion. The real thing I want to focus on is the time and effort put in by the staff to make this a great player experience. The set design was great, good story, just a lot of time and care was put into this and it was worth it. I've gone to some crummy escape rooms that are clearly just thrown together, the people running this have a passion for escape rooms, as a player it shows.

This was kind of a last minute choice since we were headed out of town and our previous engagement got canceled due to weather. I called and talked to Debbie (I think) who was more than happy to answer all my questions even though they weren't even open yet. Not only did she take the time to help us in our decision, she gave us some great suggestions for lunch and other things in the area. The staff that greeted us when we got there was just as welcoming, patient, and happy to help. The location was very clean and well put together. I like that you go into a separate room to hear the instructions, as this was not the case in an escape room we went to in Columbus. The room that was suggested for the kids was Break a Leg and it couldn't have been more perfect for us. There was plenty of problem solving for the adult/teenagers and lots of interaction for the kids. This one is fun for everyone! I really like the set up and the props. The clues were great and very challenging. There was quite a bit more to this room than we expected and was much better than some previous rooms we had been to. There was more humor involved compared to some of the dark or creepy rooms so this may not fit everyone's taste but we absolutely loved it. I brought four kids with me and the last escape rooms weren't super fun for the little ones - ages 7-19. This one was engaging and so much fun for the kids that they keep asking when we can go back. I don't think you'll be disappointed and don't be afraid to ask questions because the staff is super helpful!

Definitely did not get our moneys worth on this one.
