I attended a reiki sound bath with crystals. I'll be honest this isn't something I normally do, but I am so glad I did. It was so invigorating, I can't even explain it. The sound was penetrating my thoughts as if I was exploring the cosmos. My thoughts were pulverized and finally gave into the sound to let me relax. Midway through I fell into a sleep only to be revived back out of it by the sounds. A part of me felt like I died and then came back to life. A part of me deals with anxiety issues quite a bit, this took a certain weight off my shoulders and chest. I've been having a really rough time lately due to a medical illness that's been going on since last September. It's has been taking its toll mentally, emotionally and physically and most of the time I have felt defeated. I was searching for a new way to help myself heal and when I was introduced to Katrina, I felt like the universe had listened. I have had two Reiki and Soundbath sessions and holy cow what a difference. The first session I went in feeling heavy, blocked, negative, anxious, carrying some sort of evil or negative energy, literally ready to explode with frustration and straight out hopeless. I have done a lot of work over my life to heal myself and I just felt like I couldn't do it anymore alone and I was stuck. I needed help. Katrina created an amazing comfortable space which allowed me to relax and be vulnerable while she worked on me. It was quiet, relaxing, and very peaceful. She makes you feel very comfortable! After the session was over I literally could have fell asleep. I felt drained and very tired kind of like after a deep tissue massage but more emotionally tired. Although I did feel a weird sense of energy too, like my whole body had just had a tune up haha. I released ALOT and was super excited about my new found healing. The second session was very different in terms of healing. I waited two weeks before I came back for my second session and I have to say that I had a sense of peace and calmness this time. I was able to relax more in a meditative state while she worked on me. I was able to let go and flow with the music of the bowls. I danced with the sound throughout my body and I felt very free. Also this time I was way more emotional than the first time for some reason. So overall I am very very happy with what I have experience so far at The Lotus Den with Katrina. I highly recommend that you give her a try if you are looking for something new and different and exciting to add to your healing regimen.
