I recently attended my first SOUND BATH at the Healing Shoppe and it totally exceeded my expectations! I went in just expecting to lie down, relax, and listen to singing bowls for an hour (which would have been great on its own) but this was so much more than that! In addition to the singing bowls, there were lots of other lovely sounds. One of the healing practitioners had what looked like a large shakuhachi style flute. She would walk around and set the base down on the ground, a few inches from our bodies, and play it. And you could not only hear it- you could FEEL the vibrations resonating through your body! The best part was that one of the other healing practitioners walked around did mini Reiki sessions with each of the participants. Even though it was a group session, I experienced PROFOUND healing. I had been experiencing extreme muscle tension in my neck for the past three weeks. I had a massage earlier that week and even the massage did not relieve the tension. But a few hours after I left the sound bath, the tension was COMPLETELY GONE! Such an amazing experience! I will definitely be back! read more

Just got an energy cleanse with Mama Troy. She is INCREDIBLE! It was my first time in the shop and she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. First time visitor and I took the Intro to Pendulums class with Mama Troy. Very insightful. I've been fascinated with pendulums since childhood but wasn't sure if I was doing it "right". This class is perfect for guidance and a great starting point. Non judgemental and no "it must be done this way", as some websites have listed from their teachers, like it must swing left to right for yes, right to left for no, etc. I was relieved to know that my intuitive use of my pendulum was pretty on track.
