Well the spa is called Driftwood Spa now. I had such a great experience! First, everyone was so…read morefriendly and welcoming. I had a 60 minute massage, a sea salt scrub and a paraffin wrap. I felt like a pampered princess the entire time! My massage therapist was Dee and she was wonderful! The whole massage experience was fantastic. The room was dimly lit with calming spa music playing and a diffuser was going with a very calming scent. Dee was great. She was very respectful and professional and the massage was perfect. I felt like a whole new person. The scrub and wrap were definitely great too! My skin felt amazing and it was a great time to just empty my mind. Their sauna is so perfect. It's not too small and they have water available to you as well. After you're done, there is a relaxing room where you can enjoy a complimentary drink and just soak in all all your pampering. The whole atmosphere is calm and the decor is very cute. I've heard great thing about this place and the staff and everything and everyone lived up to it!

She told me that she was an Esthetician, not a massage therapist. This is not legal! To do massage in the state of Missouri you must have at least 500 hours of massage therapy training plus take the state licensing test. An Esthetician may be qualified to massage a client's face and hands but not a full body massage. This Esthetician had no idea what she was doing so she just rubbed me lightly with oil and it was beyond annoying! I spoke with the manager Shelly and she kept telling me that the Esthetician can give full body massages which is not legal! Shelly told me that the Esthetician could give relaxing massages but couldn't work at a chiropractic office, which isn't how massage therapists work! Shelly didn't even know how many hours a massage therapist even needed to work in the state of Missouri.
