Awesome place with great food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. We got there just about 10 minutes after they opened and were the first ones in there. Within 30 minutes, the place was filled with hungry people! We ordered the nachos and spicy chicken wings to start off with and then split the Texas burger. All 3 were absolutely delicious and we were both in a food coma after devouring our smorgasbord. I also had a pint of their "Blind Cowboy Pale Ale" which was great. They even have my boyfriend's favorite beer: Anchor Steam which is brewed in San Francisco. I love that this restaurant took the time to design a beer menu that is unique and top quality. I didn't get our waiter's name but he was very friendly and spoke enough English to get our order in which is always greatly appreciated when there is a language barrier. Go here if you need a break from the wonderful cuisine Madrid has to offer because this place is an absolute gem and would most definitely kick ass in the states!

My opinion might be a bit biased as I was not having a very good day when I got to the place, but the ambiance and the service changed my day. The menu is good and there is just the perfect amount, not too few, not too many. The waiters there asked for my order with a smile and after some time, I got my meal. Astonishing taste, and big amount of food. Fries are "home-made" and the beef was juicy. After my meal the waitress asked me if it all had been good before she got me the bill. Will definitely recommend it and come back next time I'm in the city!

Hottie burger! It was gone 5 seconds after I took this pic!

This place seems to be closed and gone. New restaurant in its place. The place that replaced it is gone

Good place when you crave good old buffalo wings or burger. Good American beer as well.

Great service and a humorous wait staff was the highlight of this restaurant…read more The la champion burger I ordered medium came well done and the charcoal taste was too heavy. It stayed with me for a few hours. The cheddar (switched from provolone), bacon and onions on the burger worked well together. I ended up wishing the cheddar was stronger and the arugula was non-existent. The highlight of it was the truffle sauce which blended with everything including the boiled potatoes and my wife's fries. Her sweet and a bit spicy Iberian pork was juicy, but the fries were a disappointment. They had too much crust and were a bit over done. Just to note the area this restaurant was located was almost as crowded as Time Square on New Year's Eve due to the Holidays, so they may have been busier than normal.

It could have been smoother had they just communicated about it, but that did not happen. We eventually got someone to settle our check. The food was great. The Beef Low Loin was seasoned well, but slightly undercooked so the chew was hard to get through. The fries were light and crisp and overall good. The Homemade Brownie was delicious with the Butterscotch ice cream. I wish the brownie would have been hot; that would have put it over the top.

They offer outside seating which I always opt for if available. The interior is modern and cool (a bit small) The menu of the day is usually the reason for my visit to Cokuy. They seem to always have paella on their menu of the day, served in a personal sized pan with mussels, calamari, chicken and shrimp. The seafood isn't necessarily fresh but the paella is still tasty. Pictured below is the second course, chimichurri skirt steak with fries. The fries are the best I've had in Madrid. The skirt steak was so tough though that I could barely eat it apart from the edges. My friend had the roasted chicken which was delicious. My advice is just skip the skirt steak, everything else is tasty!

I am sorry to say that the hype connected to this restaurant is way over the top. My friend…read morebrought me here because he said he had an excellent visit last Friday. Well...I think that he was in the Twilight Zone because this meal was totally different. The wings were nothing to write home about. Small pieces and the BBQ sauce wasn't even tossed with the wings; they were more like drizzled on. The chicken tenders were probably the worst I have ever had...I don't see them selling a lot and they had a vinegary taste to them. After 1/2 bite, I had enough...And the oil they fried everything in was old and the food absorbed it. The burgers finally came and they looked like something we make at a home barbecue. Nothing special. The bun fell apart. The meat was practically raw, as you can see from the pictures. The bacon was fried to a crisp and was like eating a bacon potato chip. And the fries were good, salty, crispy and oil soaked...Complimented the sub-par hamburger. I guess quality and value isn't on the menu cause I didn't see it in our meal.
