Kitchen consist of a locked refrigerator so you have nowhere to store your food that needed to stay cold. No sink to wash dishes. Did not supply toilet paper or paper towels so bring your own. We also supplied our own hand soap. There is a counter and 2 folding tables in the kitchen for use. We had to clean bathroom. Unattended little child running around while we're trying to setup and build our balloon arch. Would not recommend. Unprofessional

It was a fun night with 80's music, trivia , dinner and of course the movie. The mood is always fun and the bar has a nice selection of beers and cocktails themed on the movie. The crowd is always fun and dresses up for each movie. We had the grand prize trivia winner at our table. Highly recommend checking them out with a group of friends

In January 2023, a "hold this date reservation arrived" for August, 2023. A family member held her large, fashionable, and somewhat expensive wedding reception for 300+ friends and relatives. We congratulate her foresight for engaging this venue. It is great that Dayton's historical buildings are restored and lots of area folks delight in selecting reception areas. We know that Steam Plant Professionals deserve huge credit for being the venue of joy to life. We like the event spaces, indoor and outdoor. The wedding was absolutely beautiful with an amazing backdrop. Used a catering company that was recommended by the Steam Plant, Elite Catering, I was not impressed with their food at all. This event center is so elegant and the food wasnt up to the standards you would expect.

Banned from Kohler Catering because I was picking up their trash in the grassy wooded area behind…read morethe business and I told them to pick up their trash. They don't pick up after their guests and Kohler plastic cups, forks, knives, soda bottles etc wind up all over Presidential Way in front and behind.. They are serial polluters in the area. Avoid this business as they don't clean up the parties they host. At Christmas time they fill huge temporary dumpsters full of trash and wind blows the trash all over the area. The City of Kettering will be monitoring the big trash problem! Avoid if you like clean businesses. Kohler Catering has no regard for the environment and takes no action to correct this problem. Confront them about it and they ban you from their property.

Seriously, it was beyond our expectations & the portion amounts you would've though we ordered for at least 10 more people so several took to go plates and we have leftovers for just us the next 2 days!! The event was held in the main barn, and below the event space there is a beautiful suite for overnight stay. The suite features a full kitchen, spacious living and dining area, and a large bedroom with a huge bathroom with beautiful stone walls! The wedding was a wonderful success, and the venue is the reason why. The staff is incredible and professional. Photo opportunities on the property are almost endless, and span a variety of styles. I absolutely loved my time here, and I am already planning a stay for myself and my husband.
