About 3 minutes before I was supposed to be there I called and let them know I was running about 10 minutes late. They said he was still working on another client so it worked out great! MOTHER DUCKING STAIRS. If you can't or wont climb stairs this place is not for you. I almost wanna dock a star because I wish it was wheelchair & ect friendly but I'm sure they are doing what they can with the space they have. After walking the whole way there I was so bummed to see them but I wasn't actually winded or anything by the top so WOO! To the actual barbershop. Its colorful, bright, 3 big tvs with sports on. And they have free snacks ( tho I brought my own n ate that lol.) The young man behind the desk admitted he was a little new but did his best to give me a great experience. Including helping me pick out a beard product for my boyfriend (The Beard Struggle : Vallhala's Gates Beard Butter) and he charged my phone for me after my haircut because it was low and I didn't wanna walk alone, with a dead phone, back home. My barber was Jaron. I only had one blurry picture of the haircut I wanted and he looked at it a few times and made it work! He was friendly and gave me some tips about Alaska since I was new. Like which tattoo parlor to go to :) Jaron: Have you ever been to a barber before? Me: No I usually cut my own hair... but I've been to a great clips! Jaron: Yeah that doesn't count. Lmao
