Wing Chun Kung Fu Classes, Manchester…read more Wing Chun Kung Fu is a very, very clever Martial Art. I have been studying Wing Chun Kung Fu in Manchester for about 4 years. I have tried other Martial Arts, but have found none as simple, direct and effective as Wing Chun. My Sifu (Darryl Moy) has been studying Wing Chun for over 20 years, as well as teaching for a great number of years. This shows in his knowledge and skill. I would reccomend this class to anyone, interested in learning Martial Arts, either to improve their health, themselves, or for self-defence. The classes are in the centre of Manchester, and as such are easy to get to from anywhere served by the metrolink, or buses or trains. If you would like to learn Wing Chun Kung Fu, it is well worth coming along to this class in Manchester, especially if you are looking for traditional Wing Chun.

I can't praise the two instructors enough for their total dedication and kindness toward teaching the young people their art. I had previous…read moreexperience of joining a centre to learn Thai Boxing only to find out that the place was small, over crowded and had a rude instructor teaching there. With this in mind I joined FMA, paying £1000 for a year (cheaper option to their £1200 a year), and to my surprise it is completely different and was better than what I have expected. The centre had a welcoming ambience. The students were wear black and red martial arts uniform with the FMA logo on them, and they were looking smart. The person who operates the school and the other instructor who works there are friendly and they seems to communicate in a professional and friendly manner. Also students are taught respects every lesson as I was told by the instructor, and I have witnessed it throughout my years of training in that school. The students have got to bow when the enter the building, enter the mat, to the instructor and student (after practicing with them) amongst others. In addition, Family Martial Arts offers students the chance to become instructors, training them for long period of times to perfect them to tutor other students in the skills they have learnt in Martial Arts. This is one of their services that I prefer because it increases individuals' confidence and well as honing their skills in more than self defence. Overall, if you ask me whether I regret joining FMA, then the answer to the question is not at all. For a school that tutors more than self defence seems worth joining. In fact I would definitely recommend this place for people who wants to join a place to learn MMA.

Family Martial Arts Liverpool has changed my life…read more Since I began working with fma's great trainers I have learned how to defend myself from people a lot bigger than me, I have learned how to discipline my mind and I've achieved a healthy body through that discipline and I've made great friends. I think the key to the my transformation is down to the amount of attention you get from the trainers we train 4 times a week mon - thur and there is extra classes for those who want to do more. If you want to be a master in martial arts, give my school a try.
