Unfortunately, a year later my boyfriend and I were shopping for a mattress for his bed and as I bragged about mine we went to the mattress factory where I purchased my mattress. We asked for the same kind of mattress I had purchased the year before. Everything went well and the waiting time on delivery was minimal. Got the mattress, set it up and that night we had the worse sleep. The mattress we purchased lacked the same quantity as the one I had bought the previous year. It was like sleeping on a hard board with no cushion. We went back to the store in Applevalley, Mn where we purchased the mattress and was told we could not return it unless we could prove it was not the made correctly ( no topper ). How does one prove that? It clearly had the topper only the amount of cushion that was upon the displayed mattress in the store was not what my boyfriend received and it was not the same quality as the identical mattress I purchased the year before. We are still sleeping on this mattress and have had to order online an expensive mattress topper to add on top of our mattress as the Mattress Factory refused to allow us to return or exchange the faulty mattress we bought not 6 months ago! Needless to say? Although disappointed as the mattress I purchased in 2024 was a dream, I will no longer be purchasing my mattress from this company again.

Sleep Number gave us a 3 hour window for the delivery. This was on the day of the big snow storm and we were glad our window was in the morning so we could grocery shop before the storm. The delivery never met the three hour window and we were never notified that they were going to be late. We called to track it down and they said it would be there by 3:00, almost three hours late. It did not arrive until almost 3:30 and they only called about 10 minutes before delivery to say they were on the way. We had chosen to install it ourselves. The installation went well until it came to connecting to the internet. It would not connect. Multiple calls to customer service did not solve the problem. One person said it could not connect because our router network name had a hyphen in it. We could not change that name. The Sleep Number software should solve this problem. No other product of software has any trouble connecting to our router. Sleep Number did send us a remote for no charge, but we are concerned that we will not be able to get any of the data analysis for our sleep. I also talked to the store and customer service to get a refund of our $150 delivery charge. Someone at the store said they should refund it because the delivery was awful. However, they were not allowed to do that and everyone above them refused to do the refund. We paid for delivery in a three hour window. We were here the whole time. They never delivered in the window. They never called to say they would be late. We kept our side of the delivery agreement. Sleep Number did NOT and their customer service was terrible. I worked with Muhamad and Jamerson. Ordered my bed 10/14/2020 to be delivered 11/2/2020. 10/29/2020 I receive an email that my delivery has to be rescheduled. I talk to customer service and the earliest they can deliver is 11/30/2020. That was unacceptable so I call corporate and get the delivery moved to 11/13/2020. 11/12/2020 I receive an email confirming my delivery for 11/13/2020 between 11am and 2pm. At 10:33am, I receive a phone call from Sleep Number that there was an issue with their technician and my delivery has to be rescheduled. The rep tells me it can't be rescheduled until 12/9/2020. I had my old bed removed yesterday and got everything ready to prepare for their delivery as suggested in their app. I call corporate and get upset with the customer service rep because at this point this is ridiculous. He tells me he can "probably" get it delivered tomorrow 11/13/2020. I never received a confirmation like the last time it was reschedule so I doubt it will come. When I look online, I get an error message like my order just is lost in space. I now don't have a bed and am sleeping on the floor. For a company that strives for excellence and comfort they are forcing a customer to sleep on the floor. A customer who has had multiple surgeries and bought the bed because of these issues is sleeping on the floor. If the bed doesn't come tomorrow, I will be filing a formal complaint and canceling my order.

I spent over 2 1/2 hours sifting through what appeared to be a very large selection of rugs, only to learn once I narrowed down my search to my top 3 choices, two of those three were no longer available to order (but still in the showroom as available samples). I moved on from my rug to choose my custom couch. The order was entered so I assumed all was good - yay! Nope! One week after ordering, I received a phone call stating the material I chose was no longer available and I needed to make another selection - which also meant changing my four accent pillows and returning the rug that I had purchased elsewhere. Lastly, our recliners were standard (non-custom) orders. We were given a delivery date of up to 12-15 weeks out! Because we were exhausted in this purchasing process, we agreed. Now, here I am....15 weeks out with no update. I called to check on the status of our order, only to learn it has been pushed out another 6-8 weeks - for STANDARD recliners! Prepare yourself for what appears to be great variety and selection in their showroom, but then learning, it really isn't an option, as well as 5-6 months to get your order! If we weren't already months into this process, I would cancel for sure!

We finally had them pick it up to, "fix" it, we just got it back. Wow, they really screwed us over. We paid a lot for this POS; the frame broke, ALL THE CUSHIONS AND PILLOWS went FLAT, the fabric is scratchy, (they talked us out of a different fabric because it would take up to 6-7 months to receive said couch, not to mention that the original couch we initially picked was a complete different layout etc. We went to the salesman to purchase "our dream couch" and come to fond out after 20-30 minutes it was unavailable because it had a wrong display marker). We had to start all over again, after hours of deciding. (We live almost two hours away, work weekdays, and it was during Covid. We wound up picking this POS for over 3500. We desperately needed new nice furniture, and this is what we got. Huge disappointment. We splurged, all we got was this POS, horrible and rude customer service, no resolutions.

    *Updating from 1 to 4 stars. I received a call from Joe at HOM later that afternoon. He said it…read morewould be taken care of the very next day. Though they didn't reach out until about 5:15pm that next day, 2 guys showed up, took away the broken section and offered to assemble the bed in our bedroom. They even took away all the cardboard from the 3 pieces, which was a nice bonus. Spent $1K on a new bed. Waited the 6 weeks for it to be delivered due to Covid. Knew that it would take that long going into the purchase. Garage delivered today. The box with the footboard and pull out drawers looked pretty rough and it had been re-taped. Upon opening, the wood frame was busted up in one corner. I called customer service and received zero sympathy. Not even close to a "Sorry to hear." Their warranty department will call in 2-5 days to figure out the replacement. So there the oversized box will sit in our garage taking up a car space. And we will sleep on a mattress on the floor until the replacement comes. I will update this post even they show even the slightest amount of care, or offer to put it together or something. Some manner of improving a customer experience.

He was knowledgeable about a lot of furniture outside the area we were in, and seems to have had additional training through the company, beyond some of the other hires. Any question we had he could answer. We needed the chairs ASAP so he took the time to check around at other HOM inventory and offered that we could also have the option of picking it up ourselves for faster use. This was key since we needed it for current health issues. Couldn't ask for a better service and kinder salesman. Ask for Josh next time you're shopping at this location.
