I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. We waited for over 45 minutes, so I went to check to see what the issue was because we had been there for about an hour, which was frustrating because I would have left to feed my 54 day old had I known the time. They apologized and said they just got the "go ahead" to fill it. I asked if they would prioritize filling it since the wait was three times longer then expected. The pharmacy tech told me "she was working on it now, minus the time it took for her to have this conversation" then she stormed off. It was the rudest encounter I have had possibly ever with someone in customer service. where I work, if we ever treated customers this way we would be fired on the spot. Further more, no pharmacist came to talk to me about this new medication- which actually has pretty serious side effects like bottoming out a baby's blood sugar and respiratory failure. As a nurse, thankfully I'm in health care and know this, but the tech just said "hey you don't have to talk to the pharmacist if you don't want to." You absolutely have to talk to a pharmacist any time you are starting something new- that is standard care. what if I wasn't in health care and just said no and took it and left without any counseling on the blood sugar dip and how important frequent feedings are? they could literally be killing people. Rude and unsafe. unfortunately for the poor people of Chippewa there isn't many options for them. costco Has a nice pharmacy not too far from Chippewa, go there folks.

My dentist ordered 2 meds for a dental procedure next week. It was put in early this morning. Go to pick it up after work and one won't be ready until tomorrow. I work out of town and it is difficult to get to the pharmacy after work if u have other things going on. They act like one can just drive over anytime. And then get in that line. Again. I use mail service for regular meds which works much better. Very frustrating experiences

I called with a simple question about Covid testing and was put on hold by the tech. Another tech came on and was rude to the absolute extreme. If the good folks at Walgreens took on too much with all this Covid thing in testing and shots , they need to own it. This wasn't a screaming match but just plain rudeness. No "thank you" . Terrible service, low quality employees…read more Every time we need a prescription filled, we call it in, and Walgreens says we can pick it up the next day. And without fail, when we go to pick it up the next day, they don't have it ready, say there was an "insurance mix-up", and say it'll be ready in a couple hours. One prescription, this happened three times before we just bought an OTC option at CVS. Recently when the tech informed me of another "insurance mix--up", I mentioned that this happens every time. Her response was, "I've never seen you here before". Unreal. The only reason we come back is because we keep forgetting to change our prescription preferences to CVS.

Why do they even bother advertising when they can't serve the customers they have? Who is doing the hiring? The blood gushed and I at least had napkins to wrap and apply pressure, (I was a boy scout, hey). Not totally sanitary but the bigger issue is what do I do now with no first aid kit in the car. Look up across the street. A drugstore! A bland looking building on the outside but a large drug store and gift shop inside. Bandages and first aid in the first aisle by the door, as if they were expecting me. Found a box of heavy duty bandages while trying to hold a napkin over my surface wound. Washed out my wound and applied said bandage, problem solved. Thanks for being there Kennedy Snyder (since 1953 the signs state).

After talking with my doctor office and my insurance company the issue/problem was clearly with this CVS. As an extension to health care they don't care! After 20+ years with CVS we are taking our business to Walgreens.
