I couldn't find what I was looking for and asked an employee if I could place an order from the Walmart.com website. She said you can from your phone (which I had in my hand). I mentioned my data connection was weak and she said they had free WiFi. Well..Why didn't I know that?! Ok great! So she stands there with me as I get the website. Of course the site doesn't load correctly. So she trouble shoots with me. Some how I turned the Wi-Fi off after I turned it on. Got on the site, then realized, I don't know exactly what it is I was wanting. I thought it might be a Little Tike play thing...but couldn't find what I was thinking of. (I've since found it as a Little Tikes activity cube) but this employee (ugh why didn't I grab her name?..oh yes I was too busy looking at my phone trying to find the right search word!)..she kept plugging away on her phone trying to find it too. Finally I gave up because she said it wouldn't be here by tomorrow anyways. So I was just going to continue the quest at home with my daughter. I did the self checkout, which I normally never do, but it seems I haven't had a problem yet at this particular location. Very simple. As I was leaving another friendly lady wished me a great day and a thank you for shopping at Wal-Mart. Now that's how a business should be handled! Thank you Wal-Mart in DuQuoin! Your small town kindness brought a smile to my face after an eventful day. Ample parking available. Gardening center, food, pharmacy and bakery also on-site.

I grabbed the Lysol bottle and went to ask them was there any bottles that's smaller than the one I had in my hand. That's when I approached the both of them who is discussing how disgusted they are by me being in the store, that's when Isabel make the remark get out. I asked her was that pertaining to me she was startled. I put the Lysol bottle back where I picked it up from, and I did as such. Before I left I requested the store number that's when the manager asks. How can she help me and I requested the store number from her. Also requesting both associates names. The staff has always been friendly and professional...but the company practices and policies are…read moreawful. Four times in a year Walgreens (Wg) has been late on my RA Rx injections. A month ago I had a flare so bad I couldn't walk or close my fingers. Last week Wg was late again with my Rx and I'm again in awful pain. On 1/8/18 I was given 2 different dosages of the same drug! Taking both could be have been disastrous, luckily I asked. In 2017 I had a Rx transfered from a natural apothecary to Wg, and they gave me TEN TIMES the prescribed amount. I took it for only two days and experienced a thyroid storm, had muscle weakness, fell, and was injured. I could have died. Wrote to the company and never got a response. This is the last straw. I will transfer my prescriptions to a local pharmacy that cares. :(
