Came in to get tire repaired and manager comes out yelling at the associate about how it's an hour…read morebefore close and he said I know it isn't as bad as it looks. She continues to yell at the associate and the customers about how it's getting too late. I come inside to wait for my tire to get repaired and the manager starts yelling at another associate about how he needs to get doing stuff and he said he's getting on it. Mind you this one was a new hire and wasn't sure of the situation fully. The manager keeps yelling at him until he gets out into the service bay. She then talks negative about the poor kid to the customer she was talking to. The associates were very helpful but the manager was degrading to the staff and customers. The fact that the employees maintain a positive attitude with such disrespect from their manager is astounding and they deserve better. The unprofessional behavior exhibited by this person is unacceptable and she should be terminated because I know this is a daily behavior and it is inexcusable no matter what is going on. To add to it I was charged double for something that said per tire not per hole.

I like the fact its just a local pharmacy when you seem to have more privacy vs walgreens hy vee ect. The are always willing to go that extra mile to provide you with the best service. Medicap has been my pharmacy for years. They also deliver which is a convenience for homebound people. If they don't have what you need on stock and you need right away they are willing to call and get some from somewhere else to help you out. Amazing friendly staff. I highly recommend medicap for your pharmacy needs.

A great little Pharmacy with a very nice pharmacist who is the fourth generation in her family to…read morework at the store. She has many of the original tools they used when the place opened and has kept a large number of the interesting concoctions of yester-year! The display case is seriously a trip back in time in medical history! The pharmacy by itself is reason enough to visit, but what puts this place over the top is the old school soda fountain that is contained within! They mix up all the favorites your grandparents used to talk about and will make you a rootbeer float that you've only heard of in the movin pictures! Truly a spot not to miss and one of only a few places we've been that truly continues to preserve a heritage that is vanishing quickly. A must see place for anyone passing through or looking for something a little out of the ordinary.

I had a reg size and it was a lot! Mae wondered around the shop while our malts were being mixed up. The prices are very reasonable. There is a good card selection. And there are neat old pharmacy artifacts. This place is not open on Sundays and close by noon on Saturday.

There's also this Drug Store, which looks to be part of a yet-to-be realized development initiative at and around the old Train Station. Gayle was at a Salon at the Train Station getting her nails done. After all, my fabulous wife must mind the beauty details! However, with the Iowa humidity, she would probably go for shorter hair if we actually lived here. Since this takes time, I decided to walk down Main Street and look around. After walking around the Train Station and admiring the architecture (and the safety fence near the tracks), I first wandered into Hy-Vee Drugstore and for some air conditioned relief. This place is a lot larger than it looks from the outside. They have a nice selection of the usual stuff, plus gifts and wine/beer. I ended up buying a padded wine holder to later (and successfully) take back a bottle of Templeton Rye Whiskey back to Iowa. I'll probably be back the next time I'm in town for any travel-related supplies or to just kill a little time.

Whoever does their merchandising does a wonderful job with displays and making the store so visually appealing. All of my experiences here have been pleasant and I believe in supporting our locally owned small businesses instead of the ugly big store on the west edge of town.

We waited 45 minutes in the drive-thru and then they told me my medicine would not be ready until Monday! I said, "I have two messages saying it's ready and I've been sitting here 45 minutes!" She checked again and I finally got it! Because of such a long wait, we were then late to a birthday party we were originally hoping to be early to! I will not be going back!
