The staff is incredibly friendly my daughter interacts positively towards each of her teachers. They have made me feel at home and at ease leaving my baby in their care. They also have an app that keeps you updated throughout the day and they will send you a selfie! I'm not going to lie and say this is an affordable daycare it's definitely not. We went and visited for an hour one morning before he started, and had the option of doing a second visit if it made us feel more comfortable. I loved being able to see what his morning would be like! His teacher, Jena, is AMAZING. She is always so communicative, and very understanding and reassuring when he has a hard time saying goodbye to us in the morning. The toddler room shares a half wall with the infant room and the infant lead, Kathy, is so sweet with him too. We love the assistants as well! We drive 15 min to get here (passing numerous daycares along the way) because I trust them and feel their care is above and beyond.

We had concerns with the lack of educational experience of the owner, but decided to take a gamble since we loved the FORMER Educational Director. We also thought the school, with the way they describe themselves would have essential tools, resources etc since the owner clearly did not. Boy, were we wrong. Not long after starting the school, the Educational Director resigned due to not being able to get along with the owner who is a complete control freak (we heard this from multiple sources, including teachers). Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. The school at this location is like a revolving door with teachers and assistants. There is no consistency or stability. Once your child is assigned to a room, there could be multiple teachers pass by in a given year. I know this happens in day cares but for the money we were paying a month, which was over $1,400, I would not expect that much. A few observations that I would share that are very similar to the above poster are: * The owner is clueless on how to run a daycare facility. I believe she was in sales prior to opening this up. * The Education Director (and yes, I too cringe given this girl that much credit of a title), is very rude and unprofessional on sooooo many levels. It is amazing she is allowed to interact with any of the families, let alone be the face of the Goddard School....And yes, my husband and I were appalled to hear about the Christmas gift list, as well as her favorite store to shop for her Christmas present was Victoria Secrets...Really??? From the beginning, the environment has felt intentional, secure, and thoughtfully designed for kids. Our family enrolled our daughter in August 2025. Before that, she stayed home full-time until age two and was very much a "stage 5 Velcro baby." The transition was emotional at first, especially at drop-off, but the growth we've seen since then has been incredibly encouraging. She now confidently gives hugs goodbye, happily says "bye-bye," and walks into her classroom with ease. She genuinely enjoys school and is happy during pick-up, which gives us peace of mind. There have been a few instances where we needed to remind staff to clean our child's face, hands, or nose after meals or messy play, as well as change her into clean clothes when needed. Parents are asked to provide at least two sets of weather-appropriate spare clothes for this purpose, and on occasion, changes were not made as promptly as we would have preferred. There have also been times when personal items were misplaced. That said, staff consistently communicated with us, made genuine efforts to locate items, and worked to improve. We understand that managing multiple toddlers and their belongings is a common challenge in any preschool setting. What matters to us is that concerns are taken seriously and addressed, which has been our overall experience here. Leadership has been a major strength. Ms. Katelyn, the Director, played a large role in our decision to choose LSP. As parents who were understandably nervous, she spent significant time with us before enrollment, both on the phone and in person, explaining the school's philosophy, operations, safety measures, and procedures. She remains approachable, responsive, and consistently kind. Ms. Lucy, the Assistant Director, is equally welcoming, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. Staff shout-outs: Ms. Amanda, a head teacher, is exceptionally friendly, caring, and highly creative. Her warmth and creativity are evident throughout the school. Mr. Daniel is upbeat, professional, and consistently friendly during evening pick-ups. Ms. Alina, another head teacher, is more reserved and has a straightforward, businesslike communication style. Her creativity is visible in school projects and displays. Ms. Niya, our child's current lead teacher, met with us prior to enrollment, gave us a full tour of the school and playground, and offered reassurance during the transition. Communication is excellent. Phones are always answered, and messages through the app are returned promptly, usually within the hour. Drop-off and pick-up are smooth, classroom ratios are followed, and security measures (controlled entry, cameras, and app communication) are strong. So effectively, we only received 45 weeks. She said they would honor the 7 weeks if we came back and signed up for another year. While the service they provide is fine (not great, not horrible), just know you're not dealing with people of the highest character (to say the least)...

It could stand to use a facelift but I understand that's what keeps the rates affordable and the people coming back. They also offer many classes (like sports leagues, CPR certification etc). And even discount to the Trout Lodge - a very large camp / lake site for fun activities. I would love to try that out some time. I would also like to try out their pool too!
