The Merry Widow has friendly staff and a Fun laidback vibe. The Blueberry Collins with vodka was tasty and reasonably priced.

Their bottles of alcohol are filled with half water half alcohol. It's Mardi Gras so I understand, but I ordered a DOUBLE Tito's soda and cranberry watched the bartender pour the drink at least half way full of "vodka." When I tried the drink I thought it hadn't been mixed enough that's why I couldn't taste the alcohol. But I mixed the drink and squeezed my lime and there was NO taste of alcohol not even a hint. Had my multiple people try it to make sure I wasn't crazy and it tasted like watered down cranberry juice. Wouldn't be surprised to find out if they were mixing their bottles of vodka with water. read more

Great event space and bar. Friendly staff, good drinks selection with specialty cocktails. They bring in a lot of talented bands, musicians and comedians at reasonable prices. Clean bathrooms, free boiled peanuts. Favorite place to see music or comedy or just hangout with friends. Starting December 3rd they have Comedy Open Mic every Sunday! Love it! read more

Ventured out the wife and I to Art Walk with a couple of our friends. Cocktails here fell flat compared to other Downtown bars. Unsophisticated & more like beach slushy things. Good to see Local Businesses trying during Pandemic. Wife told me not to be a Jerk and to give them 4 stars rather than the 3 stars I was going to and she is watching. This bar promotes sexual assault!! Apparently, if you're a guy who likes grabbing women you don't know, you can can come here and grab all the women you want. If the woman complains, SHE has to leave. It was my first time going to this bar since I was new to Mobile. I went to watch a band play and there was some dude who kept grabbing on me all night over and over. His friends kept pulling him away from me and apologizing but the dude would just do it again whenever he saw me. It was crowded (happened right before covid) so we kept running into each other. This wasn't the bars fault. What happened when I was paying my tab after the band finished was. I was signing my debit receipt and that dude came up and started grabbing on me again. I was very annoyed with him at this point and told him (with a rightfully irritated tone) to stop grabbing on me. The bartender told me that the guy was her friend and I needed to be nicer to him. I told her that I don't know him and he has been grabbing on me all night and is grabbing on me again right now and will not keep his hands off of me no matter how many times I tell him to stop. She said "Well he's my friend so you need to leave" and I did. I was leaving anyway so whatever. I haven't been back since and I don't ever plan on going back again. If you're a woman, especially if you're by yourself, go somewhere else. read more

I came here in May as my boyfriend was performing at Elements. All staff was nice, the place was clean (including the bathrooms), and they had a great set up for Elements. Smoking is only allowed outside which I really like, and they have a full bar with many of the locally brewed beers. I'm sure I'll back soon. read more

Great New downtown music venue! They have delicious cocktails and beers, boiled peanuts, and there's always something going on for everyone. I've seen a burlesque show, comedy, and several of my favorite bands here. Good night out! read more
