For the first time ever today with Shaina (new instructor for me and I usually stay with my faves) at the Monday noon class, I did not get to complete my workout. After 30 minutes of treads, I was so happy to finally get to strength and, after a brief bathroom break, I come back and the instructor had given someone else my assigned spot?! I could not believe the class etiquette and never in my life has this happened to me. I'm genuinely in disbelief. I then looked around to see if there were any free spots where I could brush it off and workout and there were just no other available spots. That warranted 5 minutes of me standing there genuinely confused and struck in disbelief. The instructor just very much noticed, stared blankly, and didn't question a single thing. I eventually walked out because of how astounded I was. The fact that the instructor didn't even say a thing or seem attentive to what was going on in class is beyond me. After writing this, I admit I had to lower the review down to a 1 because of how disheartening this has felt walking out without a completed workout. I'm all for trying new people/things but I'm sorry, if you all have ur favorite instructors I'd probably recommend to please stick with who you're familiar with at this location. It's deeply inconsistent with the values and service quality that we expect the Orangetheory brand to be.

I came here in late September for a soundbath experience to celebrate a friend's birthday. I was…read morevaguely familiar of what soundbaths were like, and it was truly a restorative experience! It takes place in a private residence in the Malibu so you're not given the address until a few days before your scheduled appointment. Kirscha and Luca were very nice and welcoming; they led us to the area where they conducted the soundbath and it was spacious, clean, and I felt very comfortable. Rather than give everything away about the experience, I will say this: it was truly relaxing! I wasn't sure what to expect; there were areas where they didn't physically touch me, but I felt tenderness in the area the next day (the vibrations from the soundbath affect tense areas in the body). After it was over, I felt very mellow and at ease. In terms of price, I would say this one is on the higher end, but your experience is worth it as you look at the view- the expanse of the ocean, the crisp fresh ocean breeze, I really had a lovely time.

I was about a year postpartum when I joined the gym and I can honestly say that Diana helped me feel good again. Her motivational words with the right amount of push helped me get breakthrough in my work out journey. The gym is immaculate. Bathrooms are clean and always well stocked with hair ties and all the women necessities. The community is great. Parking can be a little though depending on the time of day because they're located right outside of the mall, but you always find a spot. Over all love this gym. Nadia is the one receptionist who seems to care about this facility and her customers. This gym being an all womens gym is a great concept, and makes for a very comfortable workout. The ambience is amazing, the dim lighting is wonderful. The equipment is up to date and very clean. Sauna and lymphatic roller are the main reasons why I am keeping this membership, thus far. Here are my big complaints with this facility. I am not sure why I am paying $100 a month, for a/c that has been out in this building since I started. I thought this would have been fixed by now. They have 2 portable units that are not cutting it. It is so hot in there, it has to be at least 80-85 degrees. There are supposed to be three showers, when only one has been working, since again starting this gym. One shower!! The steam room is not really a steam room, I don't know what is happening in there, it just smells musty, and steam?, not a true steam room. Also, a daily wellness shot (drink) is included in the membership, since joining I have only got two! Every time I ask for one they have seemed to run out. I get it by the end of the day they could run out, but by 9am! Makes no sense. Also hours could be better. Opening at 8am on the weekends is pretty late. It's nice to go early in the morning and get your workout done with. Last, I have written to the company several times with my complaints, especially being a new member. I was very nice as well. I have received one response back saying the mall is the issue with the a/c, and the showers are fixed. The showers are not fixed, there is one out of three. That is not fixed. And this a/c issue is ridiculous. This is a high price membership for what is being offered. Something has to change or you will be losing a lot of business and for such a great gym/trainers. Don't let it go to waste!
