Amanda was by far the best! Very personable and kind. Would recommend just based on her.

A lively Irish pub. Can get crowded for certain Irish matches on TV or when there is live music…read more Broken up into a a couple of rooms with plenty of back patio seating. I don't think they serve food but there was a Fish Box pop up in the back one evening. Saw my favorite singer of my Dingle trip here. Only saw the last 3 songs, he finished with, "I'm gonna be", "Sweet Caroline", and "Zombie". The audience loved it.

Ah, Paddy Bawn's -- the only pub in Dingle where you can get kicked out for trying to order a pint…read more We stopped in last Saturday 18th October as part of a 30th birthday crawl -- a friendly, jovial group of lads who managed to make it through every other pub in town with ZERO trouble. The pints were flowing, the craic was mighty, and for a moment, life was peachy.. Then came the Guinness Incident in Paddy Bawns. I'd just ordered a small round, including one Guinness for a friend. Moments later, another friend arrived late and asked if I could add another Guinness to the order. Apparently, that request was an outrageous act of rebellion. The barman, clearly burdened by the great tragedy of having to pull two pints of Guinness, looked me dead in the eye and said, "F*** you." When I (quite reasonably) asked if everything was alright with him, I was swiftly rewarded with an ejection -- courtesy of the owner, summoned to do the dirty work. No conversation, no explanation, just out the door I went. The best part? I wasn't even given the chance to pay for the order. So the lads enjoyed their free Guinnesses -- courtesy of Paddy Bawn's, the pub so committed to bad service they'll pay you to leave. A night to remember. Five stars for comedy, one for service. In Fairness like, how dare the customer ask the man serving pints -- to serve another pint.

It's billed as a sports bar and seems to focus on a golf theme, but they have full table service and a righteous menu. The place is decked out in lots of dark colored wood trim, and they have beer and a full bar of course. It's definitely on the upper end of what I would consider a sports bar. The food was PERFECT, the service was ok, but could have been a touch better. Nothing huge to complain about though. They just didn't check in on us often enough. Had to ask for more drinks, the bill, etc. No big deal. The food quality and quantity was perfect. The Penne Chicken Pasta (€16.50) included sundried tomatoes, mozzarella, in a creamy white wine sauce with just enough basil to make it tasty, but not overpowering with basil (sorry, I feel that strongly about basil). The Summer Chicken Salad (€14.50) was also top notch, and very filling. It included decent amounts of seasoned, grilled chicken strips, served on top of mixed greens with a tasty mango salsa, pumpkin seeds, a few sliced cherry tomatoes, a few radish slices, and topped with grana padano (don't feel bad - I had to look that up too - it's pretty much parmesan cheese). The place seems to be frequented by locals instead of tourists. I was told that it's a good place for a decent steak or burger as well. Put this place on your list if you are planning on visiting Killarney anytime soon folks!

Tonight we started with the Loaded fries - chicken, bacon, cheese and the fires where perfect. The portion enough as an app for 4-5 easy. These were absolutely fantastic. Would consider ordering these as a meal! If you want to live on the edge try with a little brown sauce (packets on the table). It's basically like a milder A1 steak sauce but was nice with the fires and such. For me it was Irish beef stew for m - beef was tender not over cooked, carrots, celery and some opinion w mashed potatoes. our experience in Ireland so far is that the food is a little bland for our tastes. But they have salt and black/white pepper at the table and after a few shakes got it where I liked it. My wife was tired of shepherds pie, Irish stew and fish and chips so opted for the Hawaiian pizza. Like most pizzas we have seen in Ireland the outer crust is a little well done but she said the salty ham and pineapple with a generous amount of cheese hit the spot. Of course we had to have some Guiness and waiting on the music to start at 9....
