Maybe the best custom Irish souvenir of our trip! And a bargain at 60 Euros Cash. Gayle and I enjoyed watching him work and I appreciated his no-nonsense approach, first by warning me that if a person that had shown up earlier came back, I would move down the line. He didn't and it helped that I knew and told him exactly what I wanted. Having my previous belt handy helped at 2 stages in the process. The belt also has the shop's stamp, my initials, and an Irish knot stamp. Great work and experience! p.s. - I did separately enjoy a wee pint of Dick Macks IPA at another Pub.

Quite honestly, neither does the first part you see when you walk in. However, go deeper and the story begins. Little cubbies and different rooms with all sorts of adventures to be had. The people are what make this place. We were laughing because the three Bob's were at the bar asking the ladies "what would you do if we were the last men on earth?" We had quite a bit of banter but the best response was given by a "toothy" 70+ Bob when asked if he needed a blue pill. I will never forget his answer "beware the sting of a dying wasp". We were there twice during the weekend and each time met tons of interesting folks. In fact a couple used to live in my neighborhood in Milwaukee completely showing the that world is much smaller than we realize.

The breakfasts were great and the live music we partook of the last night was fun - just wish they had a better way of keeping it cool and less bright in the rooms / they did have heavy shades but with having to keep the windows open to get what breeze we could it created a very bright and since the sun is up til almost 11 it was hard to sleep.

We were seated at a nice booth, and next to an interesting group of folks speaking French. Our waitress was fun and engaging, even when she told us that they were out of Smithwicks. I gladly chose a glass of Rockshore Lager instead. My Lunch choice was an Open Ploughman, as it looked interesting and wanted to avoid yet another Irish meal featuring potatoes. That was pretty tasty, as was Gayle's Prawn and Salmon dish. Nice place!
