Nicest, newest conference facility in the area. Has a very nice hotel attached. Has catering and a semi-friendly staff

The newest and nicest meeting facility in town and only steps from a very nice/New Courtyard Inn. Highly recommended!

Made reservations for a handicapped room , requested first floor with a king size bed and walk in…read moreshower. When we arrived we were told there was nothing available on the 1st floor and they we're renovating therefore less rooms were ready and available. I called this hotel twice before the arrival and no one communicated anything to me about renovations. I had clearly stated what we needed. My 85 year old parents had to go to a 3rd floor room with 2 double beds and a bathroom with no walk in shower, and no seat. They refused to do anything else for them. They argued with us and offered no solutions. Very disappointing to say the least. My room is on the 4th floor. Photos tell the story. Yuck!

Arrived 3:35pm on Friday, Checked in, went to room and dropped off luggage and left for fireworks,…read moreI realized after leaving the hotel that there was no sofa bad in the room I called hotel from fireworks event and spoke with Yolonda and explained the situation she called me back and explained I should of told her at check-in so I thought my bad, my mistake..came back at to hotel 11pm and went to room, It didn't sit well with me as there were 5 of us in the room and it only had 2 Queen beds... and I know I booked a suite with 2 queens and a sofa bed... I went to front desk and spoke to Mitchell first he was so understanding and took 100% accountability and told me it was the front desks fault and not mine which I appreciated so much. he offered me a partial refund or an extra room comped So I took the extra room which I could get the next day, so next day checked in to the second room and who ever was in it before us wet the bed so we couldn't stay there... so got a 3rd room from Yolonda this was not a great situation at all and only thanks to Mitchell it was sorted with a lot of moving about, I also spoke with the cleaner about the wet bed situation and she made the room up and blew me off, so I'm telling everyone to make sure your room is correct when you arrive at front desk Day 1 cleaner took our dirty towels and did not bring back clean ones or make the beds or empty the trash No towels at pool area had to ask for the pool towels at front desk twice I don't recommend staying here with children

I recommend the business because of the new leasing manager. Ashlyn. Mrs. Avent is amazing. But I like how their gates work too. Just like across town. There are many gated communities and two/three have functioning gates. Safety here at three properties. I do ride around in boredom or tutoring all over town - and so I know the scope of the appearance of the outdoors etc at several properties.

They also hold you to the lease but don't hold up their end of the deal so you get stuck living somewhere where you can't sleep because the people above you are always partying and stomping around and will not let them go beyond a first strike on their lease even after numerous complaints with evidence which is kinda funny because they are always looking for a quick way to make a buck on you. I have been left to call the cops on them a few times to get the people above me to be quiet after 2 am. I have lived here three years so when I say every year it gets worse it truly does. The Helix/Philo is as ghetto as it gets without you being in the actual hood. Save yourself the stress and money and do not move here!!!!
