I'd give 0 stars if i could. It is under new ownership and they are turning it into an absolute disgrace. I called to place a pickup order and i was told 15 mins, amazing...jokes on me. I show up 15mins later to pick up my order and im told nobody put my order in. They put my order in and told me 15mins. I came back 15mins later and i wait another 15mins inside and my order is finally ready...just wait it gets better. I open my food and im delighted to see i have a mix of fresh fries and old recooked fries...yum. I start to eat my philly cheesesteak sandwich and im delighted to find that there's next to nothing on the sandwich. I'm glad to spend my money elsewhere from now on. read more

Best fish and chips in Sydney, a spot frequented by locals. Good service and plenty of parking.

This was a nice restaurant. We all had fish and chips. The fries and fish were both delicious. The salad was exceptional. The wait staff was very attentive without being overbearing. read more

This service been awful! Me and my father went out for dinner today and we've been treated awful!! My father ordered the princess burger with veggies on the side and they come back with a different burger. I went up and told the waitress that you got my father the wrong burger. She takes the burger hand lift the burger moved the lettuce and tomato and put the bacon on it. My father was that mad he left didn't even eat it. He had to wait outside and wait for me to eat my dinner. My father had to go to another restaurant so he would have something to eat!!! I am very disgusted and disappointed the customer service was. We will never eat here again!!!!! read more

Requested no dark meat with my turkey dinner planned I did not want extra white meat just the same amount as comes on the normal turkey dinner. Just I don't like dark meat and don't want to have it wasted the same with the cranberry I did not want that either. Five minutes after the waitress take our order screaming can be heard through the entire restaurant. I get up to see what it is and I can see and hear the cook screaming at my waitress because she did not up-charge me. She was trying to calmly explain that I did not want extra white meat so that is why she did not up-charge me and he continued to scream at her. I got her attention told her to cancel the order and we left. If I ask for no tomato on a sandwich I don't get charged so why would I pay a charge because I did not want the dark meat or cranberry sauce? If this man gets that mad at an employee I fear for what he does if someone says they don't like their food. I will never return nor would I recommend this restaurant when I called the owner to let her know what was going on she seemed more interested in whom had told me that it is a daily occurrence when that cook is on. read more

Newly opened and really looked forward to it. Ambiance is fabulous, lovely little touches. Especially loved the pictures. Sound is loud (only 3 tables when we were there but hard to hear and constant door slaming was distracting), needs some items to help buffer the sounds. Menu is very thorough with a lot of good options. Only criticism is descriptive font for each menu item was very hard to read due to font colour. Actually had to get server to read it, which she had trouble doing too. Hubby had an amazing burger. Large homemade patty, and we believe homemade relish. Juicy, flavourful and messy, just what you want. I had the fish tacos. Large piece of fish, actually too much. Ended up cutting fish in half and leaving it on the side of the plate. Loved the cabbage slaw, but next time would request it not be put at bottom as it made the tortillas wet and mushy. Better to put on top. Needed more spice for me (understand not everyone wants spice though). Asked for hot sauce and got some on the side (was charged for it!) And it worked. Fries were homemade and cooked perfectly. They have a large display with baked goods that looked very good, but i was just too full. read more

Second attempt to eat here and we drove a fair distance from out of town to get here as we have eaten here before but unfortunately it will be our last visit as we were unable to get a seat inside they wanted us to sit us by counter on wall next to entrance which was very busy and not a relaxing location so we asked to sit further inside. There was two tables used up in main area the rest was empty but apparently all reserved. For the money that places charge we should be able to sit where we like that is available. we have all been through a hard time not just businesses being selective about customer service you would think they would be more willing to accommodate. We are never unreasonable and don't argue we just turn around and leave as there are many more welcoming choices out there and we are quite willing to go where we feel welcome. The place has a good appearance. Well organized and clean. The pictures on the walls are interesting. There is terrible echo in the dining room making for an unpleasant dining experience if the dining room is more than a third full. Maybe they could fix this. I've eaten there twice. Both times my order was done incorrectly. The first time I had asked for something to be included and something to be held. It was presented with the held item included and the requested item missing. On my second visit an item was left off my entree and that of my guest as well. Also on my second visit the server told me that a side was not included with my meal when the menu clearly specified that it was and even listed the side options. The food is unremarkable but overpriced for the portion size or quality. It appears the "white meat" option has been removed (by pen) from some menu choices. There were several other small annoyances but I will mention just 1 more: the Wi-Fi is password protected and there is no sign posting the access information. I did not ask for access but I assume it is not for patrons. Any business where a person is expected to wait for service, and that has Wi-Fi, should provide access for their patrons. First visit for my wife and I. Very clean and the atmosphere was great. Very friendly and attentive staff. My wife had the burger with maple flavour and bacon and she just loved it. I had a hot turkey sandwich which I also enjoyed very much as it was served hot and fresh. The desert offerings looked amazing however we were too full to indulge. It was our first visit but it will certainly not be our last. So nice to see a restaurant of this caliber on the Northside certainly worth the drive... read more
