Unbelievable. I ordered 100 calendars for my business along with 100 envelopes to mail them to my clients. I ordered these as part of a time sensitive marketing campaign, so I needed to know where things were in order to plan. After 2 weeks, I hadn't heard anything, so I called to find out about the order status. No one could tell me anything about the order, only that it had been sent to a third party vendor, despite indicating top of the line printing equipment on its site. Called at the end of the week, still no answers. They told me they couldn't get anything since it was the end of the week, so I waited over the weekend and called back Monday. Still no answers. I got fed up and chose to cancel the order. They told me they had to wait until they heard back from the vendor to cancel the order. At that point, I was just done and ordered my calendars with a different company. A few weeks later, two boxes showed up at my house- the calendars and the envelopes. I figured mines press knew the calendars wouldn't be good to anyone else (they were printed with my name and credentials on them) so they just sent them to me. Two weeks later I got a call from the company stating the calendars had been sent by mistake and that they either needed to bill me or get them back. I told them I had intention of paying for the calendars and that I had already hand addressed the envelopes. They were welcome to the shipment but they needed to be aware that the envelopes were no longer good and the calendars have my info on them. The company is paying money to have the items shipped back to them, I kid you not. I asked what they will do with the shipment once they get it back, the plan is to cut my info off the calendar and give it to nursing homes and schools in the area. Again, I kid you not. This is their plan, instead of cutting losses and learning from their root problem- poor communication- they're going to cut up the calendars and give them away. Net loss here- I wasted a total of three weeks waiting for updates on an order when I could have just started with a different company. Also, it is time consuming to address 100 envelopes by hand (I wanted the personal touch). What an absolutely absurd business practice. Never again, Mines Press! I'm absolutely going to steer clear of these guys in the future and recommend you do the same. read more

I ordered stock, not special order but stock, envelopes from Mines Press in early December so that I would have them in time to send materials out for tax season in early January. The bill arrived mid-December (they're pretty good about getting those out) but by the 10th of January still no envelopes. Despite repeated phone calls and promises that they were on their way, no envelopes. I should have been suspicious when they couldn't provide a UPS tracking number and low and behold by the 10th of January we were informed they hadn't shipped and wouldn't be shipped until the 14th of January. Far too late to be of any use for their intended purpose. Customer service is non-existent. Don't even expect an adjustment, they don't even offer an apology or explanation. All you really get is a pile of attitude. We have been a good customer for many years but I guess that doesn't count for anything, there will be another sucker coming right along when we don't order from Mines press again. read more

I cannot say enough about the customer service offered by Mines Press. We had a print job that needed to be completed on an unreasonably tight timeline and delivered for bulk mail to the local post office. Karl at Mines Press got the job done and went above and beyond to ensure that the mailing was processed immediately at the bulk mail center (which is not local) and then taken by Mines to the local post office for delivery. Please stop and read this before placing an order with this company! I ordered envelope size calenders and sent my color artwork to them. When I placed my order it states on their website "Besides their colorful graphics" so assuming everything that you send them will be in color. When placing the order it reads when you upload your artwork "You may upload files for your imprint by clicking "Select Files" below. Choose your file (you may also choose more than one file if necessary) and click open. Your files will be automatically uploaded. We currently accept the following file formats: *JPEG, TIFF, EPS, PDF, PSD, AI, INDD Please note that all files should be of high quality. If we have a problem with your artwork quality, we will contact you. Never does it state that your artwork will inprint in Black! Also, the style that I ordered was an ESC-1. There is so much wasted space on this calendar that you need glasses to see the months and days! Then when I spoke to Jeannie at this company about my concern, and advised her that this was misleading. She replied back to me with "Oh come on". She said they will rerun my calendars for an additional price. I wouldn't give this company another dime. Beware of them, and do your homework before you use them! Beware of The Mines Press I was overcharged after an email conformation and a paper invoice was sent thru US mail verifying the same amount. When I paid the bill with a CC over the phone with out the invoice in front of me, I knew the number didn't sound right but I figured I must be wrong. When I checked , I was overcharged $65.00 from the printed invoice (and email confirmation). I figured no big deal as they would credit my credit card. When I called Genie said she would get back with me. She did and said they had made a mistake and would not credit my acct. I know I am not a big customer but do spend over a $1,000.00 a year with them. Not anymore. They desk top calender's came with over ten percent of bent corners due to poor packaging. I paid $ 115.00 for shipping from NY to Mich. Tell me Mines Press isn't making money on the shipping also. Customer service is non existent , which is a little surprising as the Mines family runs the company. read more

NO LISTENING SKILLS AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY!!! I am a distributor or what The Mines Press called me "a jobber" and I called to place an order for their calendars. I should have gotten a hint the first time when they couldn't get the pricing right as they don't print themselves, they outsource. I placed the order in spite of my better judgement and today I got an email from my client saying that they received an invoice from Mines Press for the order I placed. When I called and spoke to Doreen and she advised me THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO but cancel the order and redo it with my information. I wish I had read the previous review first before I ordered. Feeling like a glutton for punishment by dealing with The Mines Press as I sit on hold and wait for Mr. Miles to get on the line. Final resolution: They paid me $100 of my order back that should be refunded within 3-5 business days but I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!!! #toomuchhassle read more

Placed an order from them and since tax papers did not fit properly and it seemed poor quality, I returned it. They continue to send me mailings and I have asked repeatedly to take me off their mailing list but they seem intent on continuing to harass me and wasting their postage and printing and my time.
