She was already using her potty area, resting peacefully in her crate without fuss, and even has the sweetest habit of falling asleep as soon as we play lullaby songs. It melts our hearts every time. Bambi is my third puppy in life (my first two were 15 years ago at my parents' home), and I can honestly say I've never experienced such a smooth transition. She's confident, happy, and incredibly social. Everywhere we go, people stop us to comment on how cute and well-behaved she is. Misty's dedication to raising healthy, happy, and well-adjusted puppies truly shines through. If you are looking for a breeder who raises puppies with love and care as if they were her own, I wholeheartedly recommend West Coast Goldendoodle. We are beyond grateful to have Bambi in our family.

I love the question she asks, how she approaches each dog, and how she only uses positive reinforcement to guide the training. The quality I admire the most in Barbara's training is her ability to meet the dog where it is at.  If the task being asked of a dog is too hard for the dog to successfully complete, she finds a way to scale it back so the dog and the family working with dog can succeed. Barbara brings an optimism backed by her vast experience to each training session and she always takes the time to evaluate the dog so she's able to create an effective training regimen. I've been lucky enough to work with Barbara in person and on Zoom and both platforms are effective.   My current dog, Molly, had a bite history before she came to me in 2022. Thanks to Barbara, Molly and I have established a solid relationship based on trust and communication around food (especially her food bowl) and we have not had any incidents. In addition to the resource guarding, Molly also lacked impulse control and had no frustration tolerance at first...she was 7 years old when I got her so Molly's behaviors were deeply ingrained in her by then. It is only because of the work and learning we did with Barbara that Molly and I have been able to develop an amazing relationship. People we meet are always surprised to hear that Molly was anything but the perfect well-rounded companion by my side that they see. I trust Barbara to help me, and any dog get from point A to point B, regardless of the issue at hand. Hire this woman or anyone who works at BADDogs, Inc!

This is a bit long, but stick with me, it's worth the read. :)…read more I want to share this because I know how overwhelming life with dogs can feel when things spiral out of control, and because truly great dog trainers are rare. Last year, I lost my dog Chloe. I had her for 15 years, and losing her completely broke my heart. Afterward, I adopted Lily, a multipoo who had never been out of a cage. She came from a puppy mill and was deeply traumatized. She shook constantly, wouldn't come to me, wouldn't let me touch her, and had severe anxiety. She was peeing and pooping in the house nonstop. I tried everything I knew. I tried love, patience, reassurance. Nothing worked. I was exhausted and completely at a loss. Then life threw me another curveball. A client of mine broke her hip after tripping over her dog and had to move into assisted living. I took in her one-year-old Schipperke named Daisy. If you aren't familiar with this breed, 'the little black devil.' Daisy is the sweetest, smartest dog in the world and also an absolute mischievous chainsaw in a tiny body. Endless energy, barking at people and dogs, running through the house nonstop, biting my neighbor on the ankle and even the gardener, and bullying Lily relentlessly. My house turned into chaos overnight. On top of that, I still had my 13-year-old dog Rocky, who is basically the best-behaved dog on the planet and thankfully not part of the problem. I didn't know what to do anymore. That's when I called Jennifer. Jen took Daisy for a two-week board-and-train, and when Daisy came home, she was a completely different dog. Not perfect, but honestly a million times better. She sleeps in a crate now, no longer bullies Lily, listens extremely well, and while she still barks, it's nothing like before. We're still working on it with Jen, but the transformation was incredible. After that, I sent Lily to Jen. What happened next honestly felt like a miracle. Lily no longer pees or poops in the house. She sleeps in a crate. She comes when I call her. She's happy. She plays. She acts like a dog now, not a scared abuse victim. She still has moments of anxiety and fear, but she is doing a million times better, and the difference is night and day. Jen didn't just train my dogs. She gave them structure, confidence, and safety. She gave me peace in my own home again. She understands dogs on a level that is rare, especially dogs with trauma, anxiety, and behavioral challenges. If you are struggling, overwhelmed, or don't know what else to do, I cannot recommend Jen enough. She is patient, intuitive, honest, and incredibly skilled. She truly changed our lives.

I'd worked with two trainers, including a 3 week board-and-train program ($5,000 investment), followed every instruction, and practiced daily, yet I didn't see changes. I was managing the behavior without ever understanding what was causing it. That changed within the first two hours with Brad. He didn't start with commands or tools. Instead, he focused on the psychology behind Sunny's reactions: what was driving them, what was reinforcing them, and what I was unknowingly communicating. No one had ever explained it that clearly. That was the turning point. For the first time, I wasn't guessing or correcting blindly. I could see what Sunny was experiencing in real time and understand how my timing, energy, and responses were shaping his behavior. That clarity changed everything. Walks feel completely different now. Sunny is no longer pulls since my training with Brad, the reactive outbursts are gone, and the experience itself is calm. I'm no longer bracing for problems because I know how to prevent them. I am SO appreciative!

A couple of these weren't terribly serious, but we felt we weren't "in charge" anymore, that our dog wasn't getting the message from whatever we were doing, and that if we didn't do something different, it could really get out of control. Brad really helped us with this, where traditional "training" wasn't working. We have two or three things we're working on with our girl, but here is the most dramatic change we had with one issue. She is very food motivated, and would beg from us at the table whenever we sat down to eat, and would be underfoot in the kitchen during prep. She got overly excited and would not settle and lie down. Brad explained we weren't communicating well with her on a dog level, so to get that communication kicked in to gear, he actually started our session not with this problem, but with making sure she would not dash out the front door when it was opened. This was to establish that we were in charge and what was expected of her. What he showed us how to do worked like you wouldn't believe. It was like a light bulb went off for our girl. What we did affected everything after that. It wasn't about dashing out the door, it wasn't about begging for food, it was about knowing what was acceptable in our pack and to look to us for direction. That night, at dinner, she went to her "spot" with a simple direction and was relaxed during our entire meal. She can now be directed to her spot and will stay quietly any time we need her to. Best of all, she seems truly relieved that she doesn't have to be in charge and that WE are. She is much more relaxed around so many other things. It gave us so much more confidence! I didn't think that what Brad taught us would work. It's quite counterintuitive. But trust me, it worked like magic. This is not dog training - it's communication with your dog. Brad answers all your questions, doesn't waste your time, shows you clearly and directly what will work. We're so thankful we found him!

We rescued a 5 months old dog, Mila, and quickly realized that she was unmanageable and more than we could take on at this time. With 2 children under 2 years old and multiple businesses to operate we could not handle an unruly puppy who refused to listen or calm down. She was too rambunctious with our children, destroying our house, and annoying the neighbors. We thought our only option was to re-home her yet again. As a last attempt to save her being passed on to yet another owner, we sent our puppy to boarding school with Out Of The Wild Canine Academy. We were absolutely blown away. She came back with the ability to obey commands and deliver what we need from her. She learned skills and tricks that allow us peace of mind. Mila is now reliable and safe to have around our children. Out Of The Wild Canine Academy saved Mila from abandonment and empowered us to gain an obedient and skilled companion. We trust her to do what we need her to when we need her to. We encountered a complete transformation in our dog. We are looking forward to seeing her gain more skills.
