It's…read morebrand new, state-of-the art, with cutting edge technology and beautiful rooms and common areas. My dad spent the summer in ICU, the hospital, and then skilled nursing. We were just hoping to get him to a great rehabilitation facility and get him better enough to come home. We reached out to Brooke at this facility and she worked hard to find him an available bed and get it approved by insurance and Medicare. I started calling her on Monday, and by Monday afternoon she had gotten it all set up, including the required medical transport. She made it so easy and smooth. That was the beginning of our contact with the staff there, and every other interaction has been similar. Smart, capable people who want to make a difference. Since my dad has arrived here (and he's only been here for two days) he is already like a different person. He is clear-headed, eating better thanks to the wonderful food here. He's had a series of increasingly uncomfortable beds all summer; the first text he sent me after his first night here was: "Bed fabulous, slept great, breakfast incredible." I felt like that was the start of a new beginning for my dad. As far as facilities go, it's increible. The huge PT gym is full of brand-new, high-end equipment. There is speech therapy and occupational therapy in addition to PT. My dad is busy from 9A-11:30A and then from 1P-5:30P, all in the name of getting better. Two different doctors came to visit yesterday evening, in addition to a litany of nurses, therapists, aides, and techs. I can't remember the last time he had this many people checking on him, following up, and taking care of him. Honestly, it was probably in ICU. This place has set the bar for me, and for all my loved ones. I will now not be able to accept anything less. Thank you to Brooke for getting us in, and thank you to the entire team helping my dad get better. We are ready to have him home!

Chelle and John are both truly concerned with your well-being. They are also very easy to talk to, and have great senses of humor. When you walk in the door, you meet Kara, and that's where the feeling of expert care begins. She actually keeps the entire place in smooth working order. Her smile and energetic personality make you smile! That atmosphere continues with the assistants that get you set up for your session. They do challenge you to push you to make improvements but do so in a manner that is considerate of your needs. I lost my father about two weeks into my time with them and the staff were so kind and supportive as I continued my therapy. I worked with three different therapists(though Dustin was my primary) and numerous techs and every one of them was incredible. I cannot recommend this location enough.

I met the lady at the desk who was bubbly, friendly, and informative. I them met with a worker who discussed my conditions with me and told me Megan would be my therapist. I then met Megan. Megan is amazing! She is patient, kind, compassionate, and thorough. As I said, my therapy didn't seem to help me. In fact it did no change to my issue, but I appreciate the kind and thorough care I received from Megan and the other folks at this location. Should you ever find yourself needing PT, this is the place to go.

I came to Valir after having hip surgery. I have the unfortunate luck of being allergic to most…read moremedications and as such, I experienced set backs in my healing period. I had made great progress in Physical Therapy until I hit these setbacks and travelled alllll the way back to square one. I was certain I would be out of luck, unable to continue with PT, and that I would just have to deal with it, but Sean's exceptional knowledge and knack for truly caring about his patients led me to fully healing despite the setbacks! He takes great pride in fully understanding where the patient is at in their capabilities, he pushes you just enough, but never too much, and he is extremely patient and understanding of literally everything. I truly thought I'd be in pain forever, but Sean dialed it back and worked with me from Square one all over again, never making me feel like a burden or like it was my fault that my injury had had pulled me all the way back to the beginning. His focus is helping his patients thrive. Though I have had to have Physical Therapy for longer than I anticipated, it is solely because of Valir that I am able to move around without pain and regain the active lifestyle I had prior to surgery. On top of helping my hip heal, Sean's knowledge once again shone through in the exercises he had me do, as they helped me regain balance and strength, and namely core strength on top of healing my hip. I have better balance than I did before surgery! Kim is the front desk Superhero and she manages appointment setting, insurance and everything else, including corresponding with the doctor, obtaining all necessary paperwork, approvals, etc and she is an absolute delight to see every time you walk in. The clinic is and has been taking numerous COVID-19 precautions such as taking your temperature when you walk in, wearing masks themselves and requiring masks for patients, limiting the amount of patients in the clinic at any given time, and sanitizing before and after every patient, including equipment used, and changing pillow cases, etc. The clinic is never hard to reach nor difficult to work with. They truly want to help you feel better! Sean also keeps an upbeat, light-hearted atmosphere with the Weekly Riddle and joke posted on a whiteboard for patients to see while in their sessions. I will only ever come to Valir when needing Physical Therapy!
