The cost was about average, but I decided to just have them take the initial step to reattach the original antenna. For the record, we started our search for this issue at the Nissan dealership; however, they wanted to charge $160 just to diagnose, which was not reasonable and Kent's only charged $55. We returned the following week for them to locate and reconnect the wire behind the dash. Once the radio was removed, Preston informed us there was no cable anywhere behind the dash, but the radio did have the connection necessary, so he tried a separate antenna, which brought up the station right away, so we decided to have them install it and we were on our way. I have to say that it has been a very long time since I had any desire to throw money at a company; however, Preston was excellent and very knowledgeable and the other staff were friendly. I cannot speak to other places, but can tell you why would you go anywhere else after finding what you need with Kent's. I highly recommend their business. I would also recommend that anyone purchasing a used vehicle with a satellite radio to push the button before making the purchase to ensure it is working, because I believe the dealership in Colorado removed the wire in order to gain more money from me after driving it off the lot.
