I figured there a heartless corporation takin advantage of first time travelers and elderly people.

This place has very good exchange rates and I use this company every time. The advantage of this branch is they have a high stock of the more obscure currencies and so I do not have to wait for them to get it in stock. I was served by Sudeep who was very helpful and most of all he pointed out when I thought I had given less money than I actually had. This of course is greatly increased my trust and makes me even more a regular customer. This branch is so good I actually travel to go to it.

Super friendly place and the rates are actually pretty close to value. I've been exchanging USD to GBP and opposites multiple times and so far so good. Here's a tip. Be friendly because it'll go the extra mile. The lady is also quite nice. I can't see myself going anywhere else to exchange currency. They don't keep stocks of currencies apart from Euros and US Dollars, so you have to preorder in the morning to collect in the afternoon for anything else. They've always been quick and efficient whenever I've dealt with them, although sometimes there are queues during the lunchtime rush at the Canada Place store (there are two in the Canary Wharf mall). On one occasion they didn't get the delivery of the currency I wanted, but they said if I came back the next day, they'd give it to me at their wholesale price, which is more than fair.
