My little girls both started here at two years of age, very shyly, never involved in any type of classroom setting before. Miss Jen and Miss Suzanne took them in as if they were their own, and helped them thru every step. Now, two and half years later, my girls are a bit older, and have come out of their shell a bit, and I owe this to the teachers' hard work and dedication. My girls couldn't even jump off the ground when they started, but not only can they jump, they can passe, tondu, and plie, and are now learning tap! My girls look forward to each class and love to see Miss Jen and Miss Suzanne every week. We travel a ways to get here, and pass by several dance studios on the way: this one is most certainly worth the travel. We love every bit of this place; and Miss Jen and Miss Suzanne make this studio a wonderful place. We are so happy to be part of it!

The instructors she had were not very friendly and had made several rude comments in front of children. It seemed like the comp kids were definitely favored while others were ignored and treated as a number. I wrote the owner a few times about a couple of my concerns and once it took her two weeks to get back to me, and another time my email was completely ignored. That was my deciding factor on not going back.

The instructors are so talented, patient, and helpful. They make it a fun environment with friendly chit chat, and either music or a movie playing in the background. I absolutely love that you can bring snacks and drinks as you're there for such a long time. And honestly? Time flies while you're there! Mikayla and Sam are two of my favorite instructors to have when I go. They are so upbeat with such positive and fun vibes. They make it so fun and they are both so genuinely kind. This place is one I'll always keep coming back to. I love it so much that I even included it in my Bridal Brunch (and they made is SO special!). My home continues to gain beautiful artwork from here. My only note is parking is a little stressful. The lot is so full of businesses, with many spots reserved to specific businesses.

That was almost 3 months ago, and I started with 1 class per week. Now, I am up to 2 classes each week and I am considering upping it to 3 classes a week in the fall. The people who work at/take classes at Esh are kind, supportive, and there are many ways to learn new things while taking it at your own pace. There are so many different class offerings - everything from tumbling to contortion, plus aerial arts and much more. We got married in late October and were fortunate enough to get a sunny, mid-60s day. The brick outside is absolutely beautiful, but the space inside is just take-your-breath-away lovely! We had ~115 people attend our wedding and had more than enough room for a dance floor with a DJ. We even had a Bulgarian Dance Group come in and do a performance and there was enough space. We worked primarily with Jeff R. at the CMAC who was amazing! He was extremely helpful throughout the entire process (even on the day of the wedding itself - he was there until long after the event ended). He even recommended an uplighting vendor who was great as well and he added all of these mini touches that made the entire experience special (like focusing a light on us as we made our big entrance down the staircase as husband & wife).

This venue is absolutely beautiful. We were struck by both the courtyard, where we had our…read moreceremony, and the theater, where dinner was served. The theater itself is so beautiful that, other than table linens and flowers, we did not decorate it at all because the architecture, marble, and ceiling are so striking. We also used the standard lighting and did not need any extra lights. CMAC gives you a list of approved caterers, so it narrows your options a bit (which was good for us, since we needed a place to start) and will rent tables and chairs to you. We also rented a piano for dinner, and all of these items come out of your deposit. The location is great in that it is close to the T and a parking garage; we walked to a boat near the Cambridgeside Galleria for our coffee and cake, which we would not have been able to do at another location. It was just perfect for us!!! One thing that was absolutely amazing was the event manager. Jeff completely took care of us and helped us by giving suggestions and being really flexible around rehearsal and event times. The club was taken over by a young prominent member of the Portuguese community, Helio Demelo Jr. His Father Helio "Al " Demelo had been a board member for 30 plus years. Helio Jr. is really making the place great with events, food and dances. I like what they are doing because its a great crowd now and some really beautiful Portuguese women!
