Our experience with William and The Music Concierge was grossly unprofessional and disappointing from the beginning to the end. We booked The Music Concierge in October of 2022 (and paid in full) for our wedding in April 2023. We were assigned a DJ named Matt, and were excited because of all the services offered, along with "unlimited phone consultations". We waited for some time to hear from Matt, and didn't think much of it because we had so much time. However, a couple months before our event, we started reaching out to our DJ Matt and never heard anything back - multiple emails and phone calls went unanswered. We finally managed to reach out to William, the owner of the company, who was apparently as mystified as we were and had no idea Matt had not been communicating with us (great oversight!) and informed me that this particular DJ is a singer in a band that was on tour... cool story. William said all the right words and apologies, but we got the feeling that he really couldn't care less. He halfheartedly suggested a competitor and tried to connect us with them, but this suggested person has done 3 weddings in the past (according to the guy's Facebook), so suffice it to say we didn't trust The Music Concierge, William, or anyone he recommended (especially someone so new). This was a WEEK before our wedding date. A. WEEK. OUT. We ended up reaching out to some friends and our wedding coordinator, who managed to find us a very reputable replacement for only a couple bucks more. We booked, had the contract, and paid in the space of 24 hours (and on a Saturday!). The best part of the interaction with William and The Music Concierge was how fast he issued our full refund. I know good companies can make mistakes like this, but we were completely let down by these folks, and didn't feel they really wanted to make it right. Will never use or recommend this company ever again, and if you are in the market for a DJ, I would give some serious second thoughts before booking with The Music Concierge. They put us in a really bad position, and there are many other reputable companies out there. read more

We hired The Music Concierge for our middle school dance along with their Photo Booth and they hit it out of the park! Professional, on time, meticulous and worth every penny. The 8th graders danced all night and had so much fun with all the props they provided for the Photo Booth. Kids said it was the best dance ever and I owe it all to The Music Concierge!!! They switched the DJ at the last minute. The new DJ was not given the play list and did not have very many songs that people were requesting. When you pay $900.00 for a DJ you should expect a lot more. read more

Our DJ, Bill S. (not William) rocked the house during our reception! Everyone had a great time. He kept the energy flowing throughout. And the shoe game was an unexpected surprise! However, I have to say we were disappointed with the quality of the audio during the wedding ceremony. During the sound check at 3:30, an hour before the ceremony, there were very obvious issues with static and the audio signal for our performers cutting out repeatedly during rehearsal. No significant changes were made, like bringing the wireless receivers closer to the microphones! The point of a sound check is to fix problems! There was plenty of time to make it right. read more

William was fantastic to work with from start to finish for our wedding this past fall (9/28/13). He did a great job at tweaking his playlist to suit our style and did a wonderful job managing the event behind the mic. We were very happy with William and The Music Concierge service. He was able to accommodate our special request to have karaoke be a part of our reception. It was special for us as a couple to have karaoke at our wedding because it was how my fiancé proposed. Our Marryoke reception was a hit! William was a great MC and he maintained a perfect balance between music for dancing and our guest belting out their favorite songs. It was really fun; all night people complemented us on our DJ and music choices. I would recommend The Music Concierge; my DJ was always swift with addressing my emails and questions. I really appreciate his attentiveness during our reception and he was great with keeping our reception moving to key events (best man toast, bouquet toss...). I didn't expect to have so much fun at my own wedding, but thanks to William and The Music Concierge team I danced all night! I would highly recommend this company. read more

We booked Patrick aka DJ Static through The Music Concierge a week before our fundraising event at UC Law. The Karaoke DJ we used in the previous years was no longer able to work this event and we needed a new one at the last minute. The Music Concierge responded to us immediately and within less than a day they set us up with the wonderful DJ Static. They quickly took care of all the details and took a huge weight off our shoulders. Both The Music Concierge and DJ Static were extremely accommodating, friendly, and responsive.
