I've only had a handful of pedicures in my life. (Haha, I just realized that I wrote "handful" about something that pertains to feet.) I usually enjoy them, but my mother suspects she contracted a fungus from getting one, which was enough to deter me for years. Then, one of my friends came to visit and I found out she had never had a pedicure. We went to Nails Bar because it was in a nice building. The women were really friendly and exfoliated my feet better than anyone else has before. My toes look great, and my feet feel remarkably smooth. My only complaint would be that the massage chair wasn't working. Mine would only vibrate, and my friend's didn't function at all. Otherwise, the experience was wonderful! read more

The negative reviews are from folks who want their 2minutes of fame. I've been going here for many months now and have had nothing but the best experiences. The Dip and Color is fabulous! I got a few new sets of acrylic nails and with the acetone soak off, my fingers were incredibly sore. I decided to get my nails done and it hasn't even been a week and my nail Polish is already chipping and my nail chipped. By the way I got acrylic with gel polish. Horrible!! First off- Made appointment for 2 pedis (on valentine's day) for noon....so we get there and there is nobody there, just one woman who works there... So we move on to our chairs and she starts working on my girlfriend, so I asked where is someone else who is going to do my feet and she proceeds to say that there is no one else! So needless to say my girlfriend to sit around after she was done so I could have my pedi! Sooooooo ridiculous!!! The place was dirty, the woman was a idiot, and our pedicures were crap! This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to! First off, there is only one lady in there and she's so rude. Kept telling me to relax and acted like I didn't know what I was talking about when it came to acrylic nails. Mind you I get mine done all the time. She didn't put any new powder on the nail and didn't even buff/drill them evenly. Minimum color selection. They came out so mediocre. And look very bulky and Uneven. She was so rude when I kept trying to politely ask her to change something. Overall I guess my nails are okay but if I'm paying 40 for a fill they better be top notch read more

I wish I could give negative stars, but I'll have to settle for giving one. After being seated to have a manicure at a spot with a dirty towel and old nail clippings on it, I should have walked out. I was treated to quite the cut on my cuticle that the salon girl then gooped a large amount of super glue on (preventing me from cleansing my wound). Luckily, all my shots are up to date, so I haven't gotten sick or lost my finger, but I will NEVER return and will try to prevent anyone else from making the same error in judgement that I did. read more

I went here when we first moved to Calhoun. The woman who was assigned to me to do my pedicure was hardly that; she appeared to be a teenager, maybe just barely 18. She would NOT stop talking and trying to convince me to enroll my son with her in her soccer league. It was almost like high pressure sales lol. She was very easily distracted, staring off into the distance periodically, hardly massaging my feet, and actually, at one point, massaging up my leg so far that she was absent-mindedly going above my knee which was really awkward seeing as I was wearing a maxi skirt. She then proceeded to ask me if I had ingrown toenails because she was unsure (I don't). When it was time for the polish, I asked for a French. She then asked another woman to do it because she "didn't know how". That's like, nail tech 101. It concerned me that this girl could possibly not have been licensed and was working there. And if she was, then they need to raise their standards for nail techs. When all was said and done, my feet hardly felt like they had been touched and I left highly disappointed.
