Amanda was great to work with and stuck with us through some twists and turns, and during COVID no less. When our previous (family member) nanny relocated we initially thought we wanted to replace her with someone full time. I made the decision to go back to work, and knew that was the right choice, but I was still wrought with guilt about leaving my three young children-- ages 2, and twin 5 year olds--with a nanny. I wasn't planning on using a service to find someone, but I quickly realized that the process of posting a job and finding qualified candidates was overwhelming. More importantly, I realized I didn't trust the online background checks that Care.com does (nor did I get great candidates from that post at all!). Amanda with Butterfly Baby Concierge is absolutely wonderful!! I cannot say enough good things about her and her company!!! We had been through multiple different nannies and agencies and could not seem to find anyone capable of properly caring for our infant son. With companies like care.com out there, it really didn't seem like it should be that hard...but finding qualified and competent people to care my child was much harder than I expected. I was at the end of my rope and so close to quitting in my search. Then, I found Amanda. I reached out via her website and received a response quickly, both via email and telephone. Amanda listened to my needs and told me she would look into her database of nannies to see if she could find someone for my situation. Amanda didn't make empty promises and instead took a realistic look at which nannies she had to offer. She was beyond honest and beyond helpful!! Within hours, Amanda reached back out and said that she had combed through her database and was sure she would be able to help me. And help me, she did. She set up a time to meet that worked with my schedule and we met the next day. Amanda took copious notes and began working on my situation right away. She was extremely vigilant in finding us the right person to work with our family and brought us multiple different qualified candidates to choose from.
