They (UCH and CUMed) are both affiliated with the University of Colorado in their medical division, the UCH facilities affiliated with University Hospital and the CU Medicine doctors affiliated with the University of Colorado School of Medicine. It is a complicated intertwining though both are usually included the in same heath insurance program. I have used them in various forms for decades, at different locations as the system grew. If your health plan includes these options, I think most people would be happy. There are many doctors in the systems and I have had experience with a wide range. Many aspects need to be considered when choosing medical care so do check into options that meet your needs. I have had exceptional care over the decades. Recently, one of my care doctors was relocated to this unit. It is in a building, easily accessible from 287 with ample parking in the south part of Longmont. This unit has been customized to their needs and the interior is entirely new, having only opened 10 days ago. It is spacious, well designed and very modern. The groups located here now are Orthopedics, Spine Center, Neurological Surgery and Nephrology. They each have their own phone lines, listed at the end of review for clarity. The hours for all are M-F, 8am-4:30pm. Phone # Orthopedics, 720-718-8288 Spine Center, 303-444-2955 Neurological Surgery, 720-718-8280 Nephrology, 720-718-8257

For non-white patients, regardless of political party, this is scary thing to hear from your doctor and nurse. Cheyenne Regional Center needs to set basic standards for their staff. Their website promises "compassionate care." But if the doctor cutting into you and the nurse giving you meds can't have a respectful attitude at work towards minorities and the pain they experience- even if they can't relate to it-that's not compassion. Even if they've never experienced heart disease, they should have compassion for the daily pain of having heart disease. It's no different for the pain experienced by people of color. Do better, please.

After checking in they took me back to a small room where they checked my basic vitals and I explained about my stroke symptoms. They told me that their rooms were full and to go wait in the lobby until one opens up. Three hours later I again complained about half of my face not having any control and the headache I had. They told me that they did have any rooms available so my wife and I left. We drove down into Colorado to UC Health. They got me right in without hesitation and took excellent care of me.
