I offered to share the Dexcom readings which make it easy to share the data with your doctor. She refused to receive them. I had an appointment with an endocrinologist that was five months out. I asked if she could utilize the specialist consultation service she advertises for just such occasions and she refused. When I was finally able to see the endocrinologist, they did labs, adjusted my thyroid medication, added a thyroid medication, added another hormone supplement and after 10 months of suffering I was feeling great again within a week. If you try Dr. Jones and you feel she is dismissing you, trust yourself and find someone else.

If I still wanted to be seen, I'd have to rebook and wait again. I called Gritman Urology in case I'd accidentally been put on Dr. Smith's schedule, but I wasn't listed there either. Gritman suggested my appointment may have been lost when Palouse Urology and Gritman Urology split into separate clinics earlier this year, but said they could get me booked sooner than Palouse Urology could, so I transferred my care there. I am still dealing with the side effects after 2 years, including dermatitis on lower limbs from nerve trauma and permanent damage. The vein clinic I now go to in Spokane said they will not perform the laser ablation on lower calf because of nerve damage. The whole experience has been a traumatic one for me. Not only that but Dr. Para's nurses downplayed my numerous phone calls after surgery due to concerns and anxiety and Dr. Para downplayed everything I mentioned to him about my results saying it was due to my age and projecting it back on me. Actually 51 is quite young. I am disappointed that i did not seek a second opinion after my initial consultation with him.
