The instructors are TOP SHELF, knowledgeable, patient and legitimately care about their students success. The support staff (admin) is also fantastic. Tremendous communication. They also provide video instructional tutorials at the facility on Class A and B pre trips that are a MUST to watch as often as possible to ensure your success in conjunction with your lessons. Shortly after signing up, you'll attend your 8 hour classroom course with " Uncle Jim". Jim couldn't be a nicer guy and his knowledge of the trucking industry, especially HAZMAT, is unmatched. Soon after completion of this course you will begin your lessons. This school has amazing availability..... nights, weekends..... VERY accommodating. I mainly trained with Rob and Nate. I can not say enough positive things about these two fine gentleman. Knowledgeable and easy going, they made me completely comfortable and at ease from the start. I am forever grateful to these men. If you have a young daughter, I recommend not allowing her to take any lessons here. My daughter, who attends Trumbull High School, is currently taking driving classes with Knepler Driving School. Her instructor's name is Howard Knepler. He appeared overly excited to meet my daughter. I wasn't comfortable the first day, but assumed I was being overprotective. After her second lesson, my daughter told me Howard spoke to her about massaging his niece and how she removed her top, causing him to feel uncomfortable. He then commented on her size, mentioning how he doesn't like skinny girls, and made comments about girls sitting on his lap and preferring girls "with meat." I was extremely shocked and immediately thrown for a loop. We called the driving school and asked that this be addressed. They said he would no longer be her instructor, and he would be replaced with a female instructor, in addition they also gave us a free class. My daughter was in class today talking about what happened to her, and her classmate mentioned having a very similar experience with the same instructor. My daughter's classmate said their conversation was also inappropriate. In addition, my daughter's classmate also shared that her friend had classes with Howard, and he placed his hand on the young woman's thigh. As a concerned parent, this news is extremely horrifying. This man is a predator, and who knows how long this has been going on? As a concerned mother of three, I feel as though I would be doing my community a disservice by not informing you all. We need to protect our children.

My daughter came back so stressed out. She said she raised her voice at me so many times. She kept saying things like i Would have failed you right there for that. Very negative. Very judgemental. This is actually the first review i have ever left on Yelp that's how I annoyed I was at this situation. I drive with my daughter quite a bit and she does very well. I am pretty relaxed with her. The last thing a young inexperienced driver needs is a strange adult shouting while they try to learn to drive. So Lindsey- Do better or maybe don't do this at all.

At the time I took this picture, there were 2 Next Street cars parked in the fire lane. Your instructors are not only too lazy to walk 30 seconds from the parking lot, by blocking the fire lane on an almost daily basis they are demonstrating a lack of regard for the safety of the other people in the building not to mention setting a horrible example for their students. They are sending a signal to students and the public that it's OK to scoff the law and park in a clearly marked NO PARKING FIRE ZONE. They should be damn ASHAMED of themselves setting this bad example, especially since they supposed to be in the business of teaching good driving habits and observing good safety practices.
