They have awesome unique jewlery, including some amber pieces and fossilized wooly mammoth bone that I would LOVE to add to my wardrobe. The have gallery quality, high end items that made me salivate. They have some of the most beautiful hand-carved and painted totems I've seen anywhere. They also have some vintage Native craft items that are absolutely stunning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is a really incredible store... a real surprise on the Spit. Avoid the cheesy t-shirts and what-not and save your pennies for Inua. You will go home with something wonderful and unique. Just a warning... leave children outside... this is not the kind of place you'd want to risk having a boo-boo.

Not overbearing and chasing us around the store but there to help whenever we had a question. I didn't even ask to have my gift wrapped, she immediately asked if I'd like one of my items wrapped.... It was beautifully done. I left the store with a beautiful, one of a kind quilt ( which she moved an entire dining room setup so I could have my favorite one, without a hint of hesitation), a baby shower gift, a hand knit sweater and a candle. The previous customer paid with a credit card and asked for a receipt. The female owner said, you want a handwritten one? Acting like it was a pain for her. The patron said I guess not that's ok (not appearing to be difficult). I went back into the store and asked, what is the tax rate for Seldovia? She said 9.5 %. I told her I was overcharged 4 dollars on a 30.00 dollar purchase. She played dumb and said, I only charge what my register says. I also told her she is practicing very poor business practices not giving receipts to patrons. I doubt she is paying/claiming her tax revenues correctly to the state of Alaska. Don't shop here. The receipt I asked for didn't even have a date or time on it (included in the photo).
