We went to Mamma Mia! The Party fully expecting a dinner theater of Mamma! Mia the musical. It was a different story, but still fun and cute. We had the cutest server, Amelia who we loved! She was an absolute doll! The food was kind of weird. Probably the hummus was the best. The baklava was weird and the lamb was good. This was such an expensive event and I kind of wish the food was a little better.

The O2 reminded me of an indoor version of LA's CityWalk at Universal Studios. There are a lot of shops, a stadium, etc. We came here specifically for Mamma Mia! The Party. What a great dinner and show spectacle. Do note that it will consume about 3 hours of your time!

I have to say that I absolutely hate the O2, namely because you basically can't go outside once you find yourself inside. Sure, it is huge, but that is pretty much about it. Mind you, as a concert venue, and what is on offer, is absolutely mindblowing, especially like there are stalls that simply offer sweets. However the beer options were limited, and the fact that they don't give you pass outs absolutely sucks.

The O2 arena experience is great. Huge variety of food options from all around the world and a wide variety of activities, something for everyone. It's free to come in and walk around and even just that makes it worth it. I was surprised at all the different places to eat, shopping and things to do. Indoor sky diving, bowling, arcade, outlet shopping, and of course the climb to the top to name just a few things. I ate at the Afrikana and did the O2 dome climb.

I came here last week to see Kiss on their farewell tour, the arena is a really good size, can see even from up higher in the top seats. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat inside as well and lots of stores.

This place is massive and has a literal restaurant alley... Not like a few concession stands or walk up windows, full on, sit down restaurants with an entire waitstaff. Live music, food, and drinks all within 100ft, party time! The O2 is attached to the London Underground which makes it easy to get to and from the venue, so you don't have drive. This place is also located right off the river, so weather can change from cold, to rainy, and back to cold so bundle up! I came here for the, "My Name Is Prince" exhibit which took place in the green room and back areas of the O2. In fact part of the exhibit, was set up like an exact replica of Prince's normal backstage lounge, fully equipped with satin curtains, burning incense, and Prince's full tour closet with all of his actual clothes still in them. I was even able to hold one of his guitars that he actually played, it was amazing! This exhibit has since ended, but is supposedly coming to the states soon. Never been here? Make some plans and get here soon!

The O2 Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena mainly used for live performances from some of the worlds biggest names and is London's flagship arena of that sort - served by the North Greenwich Underground Station which has Emirates Air Line Services and is also on the Jubilee Line if you want the more conventional way of London travel. It's the second-largest indoor venue by seating capacity in the UK after the Manchester Arena - but by comparison, this is much better. Unlike Manchester, this was also involved in the 2012 Olympic Games in London when it was known as North Greenwich Arena, due to sponsorship regulations. Parts of The O2 remind me of the Manchester Printworks, you walk in and there are multiple shops, restaurants and cafes - on the lower floor you have a flagship new concept O2 store who sponsor the arena as well as most restauraunt chains from Caffe Rouge (outside the arena), Ask Italian, Nando's, Gourmet Burger Kitchen as well as others including Starbucks - the upper floor and towards the Arena entrance includes brands such as Adidas, Nike, Whittard and Paperchase in the Icon Outlet. You really can come here in the early afternoon and spend the whole da here - perhaps shopping in the Outlet, dining in the restaurants, a coffee at Starbucks and then going to the Cineworld Cinema or watching your favourite artist perform - the inside arena is restricted and it is a shame they don't allow you to take any food and drink in, and bags are restricted as it means having to buy overpriced food inside which is a much more restrictive selection - do bear in mind if you're visiting here on the same day as an event or concert then restaurants don't allow vouchers meaning they cost much more than if you dined elsewhere in London, so if you can allow time do try getting off the tube one stop before/after at Canary Wharf who has most of the same restaurants in the shopping malls (Jubilee Place) built into the tube station complex. The world's biggest arena by concert sales even ahead of the UK's largest arena in terms of capacity, Manchester Arena and the hugely famous Madison Square Garden of NYC really is a solid place - yet it is let down by being smaller than what it looks and probably could sell (security or construction regulations), other regulations with food/drink/bags and it being overpriced by London standards do let it down, but still it is one of the best Arena's I've visited and warrants four-stars.

The 02 is "Breathtaking" and "O So Amazing!" We were here for the #nittoatpfinals and had an opportunity to experience this venue. From the arena to the shops to the restaurants to the cinema to the climbing experience, this place has it all. And.....I think I ate the biggest hotdog I have ever had loaded with steak and chili and cheese during the match! If you are able to get here for an event make sure you give yourself enough time to enjoy this fabulous entertainment experience. At the 02 Store, my son had an opportunity to experience virtual reality tennis. It was funny to watch him and the other kids, who think they are great gamers, look silly while playing this game. Since the weather wasn't nice today, spending the day indoors was perfectly fine and super fun.

One of the set pieces of London's fab skyline, you might have seen the O2 when it was still "The Millennium Dome" in the pre-title sequence of The World Is Not Enough where Pierce Brosnan lands on it after falling from a hot air balloon. It is located on the Greenwich Peninsula and is accessed easily from North Greenwich station on the Jubilee Line or from a Thames Clipper. Nowadays, the O2 is an entertainment complex with a cinema, concert hall, restaurants and nightclubs. At the moment, it is home to the British Music Experience and the Titanic exhibition. The O2 Arena seats up to 20,000 and has been used for large stadium-sized concerts and sporting events. There is also a smaller club-style venue, the IndigO2. It's going to be hosting several of the Olympic games too. It is the largest dome of its type in the world. There are 12 support towers (12 hours on a clock face), 365 meters in diameter (one for every day of the year) and 52 meters tall (one for every week of the year). The roof itself is apparently lighter than the weight of the air underneath. From the air, you simply can not miss it. Once inside, it's bigger than you would think.

Let me start review by saying thanks to Tara (Hotel Manager) for doing her best to provide Customer…read moreService. However Hotel management operational standards did not let her excel at her Job. Had to go through lot of unnecessary drama during my stay however i will keep my emotions away and showcase what i found not ok from Guest experience perspective. I originally booked the Hotel for 2 Weeks , Got a fantastic deal. Tara welcomed me at the Front desk, adjusted the pricing for me and gave me a bottle of water. 1) I requested for quiet and bigger room as i am going to stay for 2 weeks, However i ended up in a match box sized room. The front desk folks made me believe that's the best room they got. I would have appreciated honesty in this regard as later i found out there are much Quieter, bigger and nicer rooms available. 2) Elevator on my side is consistently faulty, Thankfully elevator on the other side of the Hotel is working. However its a maintenance problem and customer inconvenience. (It broke down at least for 3 days during my 7 day stay) 3) on Day 4, When i got back to the Hotel in the evening (5 PM) I found water leaking out of the Toilet and not flushing. I am exhausted and repeatedly tried to call the front desk for over 20 mins with no response. I dragged my feet down to the reception to report the problem at 5:30 PM and i got a response that operations are gone for the day and they will arrive the next day morning. Hotel manager did Offer me for a room change. But from my point of view , i am all settled in and if i had to change rooms,i have to pack & Unpack everything. Simple solution should have been calling a plumber and fixing the problem. I am very unhappy at this point. I am tired and my evening which is supposed to be relaxing turned into total chaos for not able to address a simple issue . As a guest , all that i care is not being bothered by unpleasant service related circumstances . 4) Unhappy me told the hotel manager that i would like to check out. Instead of finding a solution , she tried to penalize me for early checkout. This is like putting gasoline in fire. and then disrespected me by offering me free points. I dont care about free stuff, all that i care about is relaxing stay experience. I travelled several miles from home and paid for the hotel not to go through poor service experience. 5) I reported the inconvenience to the IHG Guest relations. and that night Hotel manager moved me to a new Room (spacious). I packed the luggage and moved myself to the new place. It's late in the evening and until the next day i did not look at the cleanliness of the carpet of the room. Hotel manager is not happy that i complained to the guest relations. 6) When i woke up next day i saw massive stains on the carpet in the room. Seriously It looks like Poop & Vomit (Look at the pictures) & appliances in the bathroom are not cleaned or maintained properly. I once again took this to the notice of the front desk and the lady did a walk through and offered me to change rooms again. So the Rooms are Untidy and not clean. It made me question the health regulatory standards in London. Disgusting i must say. 7) That evening they moved me into another room ... again i have to pack all my belongings and drag my tired ass into the new room. Comparatively cleaner but Still got those black stains on the carpet. I once again called the guest relations and updated the ticket with what's going on. 8) The next day, Right infront of the front desk i was confronted by the hotel manager for raising complaint with the guest relations. I dont want to get into the drama that happened But i once again want to say that Hotel manager Tara did her best to provide customer service however she is failed by her management. She doesn't have ultimate power to serve a customer. However i consider this unprofessional. If she had to talk , she should have requested sometime and spoke in the lobby area away from other guests. I did not say nothing about leaving however Hotel Manager said i can checkout anytime i want. Keeping emotions aside, Hotel management is asking me to checkout because i am questioning their untidy rooms and poor operations. 9) I care less about the drama but Hotel tidiness & operations is the most important factor for me. A rather simple solution is being turned into a uncomfortable situation to a customer. I cannot stay at a place where it is hazardous to health and not a relaxing experience. Plus i was unprofessionally treated. At that point i decided to leave the hotel to Marriott brand. Let me tell you, total 360 degree change in experience. My rest of the stay in London is excellent and i highly regret staying at this location and had to go through all the drama in place of Customer Service.

It was a last minute booking for a sat night and everywhere in town was booked up unless i pay more than 300 pounds for the night. Anyways, I figure one night in the Docklands wasn't the worst thing in the world, with the tube being a block away and all. The hotel was pretty much what I have expected it to be. It was clean and neat and everything was at its minimal. The bathroom was clean, the shower was hot, the tv worked fine and the beds were pretty decent. The continental breakfast that came with the room wasn't as good as the breakfasts I've had at the other Holiday Inn Expresses, but I guess it depends on the region/culture. Overall, it was a good deal and great for a short stay.
