This is a great shopping outlet with so many food places and also retail store too. I came here everyday during my work trip to London because it was near my hotel. My work was inside the O2 arena which is inside this outlet too. I went to Nandos, Five Guys, Chiptole, German Kabob and a Thai restaurant. I also did some shopping here as well at Adidas, Hot Chocolate, Sunglass Guys and other stores. The arena is located right here you enter the outlet. read more

The O2 is a full experience. Shopping, restaurants, multiple venues for concerts/musicals/etc. It is just across the promenade from the bus station and a perfect place to spend a rainy day. It was reminiscent of the Planet Hollywood Mall except it is [semi]circular. There is a Wetherspoons located on either end (yay!) as well restaurants that specialize in worldly cuisines. I went for the first time to see my favorite boy band, Five, on their reunion tour. A 20,000+ person capacity arena in the center of a "mall" is wild. The arena had great sound, and even though I was in the upper tier stage-left, I had a clear view of the stage. For a first time visitor, it is important to note that the upper tier is very steep. I was only in the 2nd row from the ledge, so I did not have any issues with vertigo/motion sickness. However, I would personally avoid seats near the top because I know I would have issues. There is a separate merch store outside the area to avoid crazy lines once you enter the arena. You can bring small packages and pursues inside but they made others rent a locker to place large packages and jackets. In addition to the arena, there is a smaller venue that was simultaneously hosting a K-Pop concert and the dinner venue for Mamma Mia! I wish I would have arrived when the shops first opened as I could have easily spent an entire day wandering around. If you are visiting London and have the opportunity to see a show at one of the venues, I highly recommend making a day of it! read more

I have to say that I absolutely hate the O2, namely because you basically can't go outside once you find yourself inside. Sure, it is huge, but that is pretty much about it. Mind you, as a concert venue, and what is on offer, is absolutely mindblowing, especially like there are stalls that simply offer sweets. It's free to come in and walk around and even just that makes it worth it. I was surprised at all the different places to eat, shopping and things to do. Indoor sky diving, bowling, arcade, outlet shopping, and of course the climb to the top to name just a few things. I ate at the Afrikana and did the O2 dome climb. read more

Astonishing experience during the Laver cup 2022, the staff were very friendly and accommodating towards the tennis match. It's easy to get there just by taking the jubilee line train. It's very easy to get around in there, if there is anything you need you can ask the staff. I like how the monument of the o2 is made especially with the yellow poles in the roof , it makes it stand out to different monuments. The ambiance is very friendly, barely any crime happens in there, I personally enjoy being in there . read more

This place is massive and has a literal restaurant alley... Not like a few concession stands or walk up windows, full on, sit down restaurants with an entire waitstaff. Live music, food, and drinks all within 100ft, party time! The O2 is attached to the London Underground which makes it easy to get to and from the venue, so you don't have drive. This place is also located right off the river, so weather can change from cold, to rainy, and back to cold so bundle up! I came here for the, "My Name Is Prince" exhibit which took place in the green room and back areas of the O2. In fact part of the exhibit, was set up like an exact replica of Prince's normal backstage lounge, fully equipped with satin curtains, burning incense, and Prince's full tour closet with all of his actual clothes still in them. I was even able to hold one of his guitars that he actually played, it was amazing! This exhibit has since ended, but is supposedly coming to the states soon. Never been here? Beautiful! I went here at least multiple times to the O2 and its stunning! The only thing i would complain about here is the prices, but what do you expect? It's a popular tourist attraction anyway.. A very impressive space. I attended for a conference and was impressed with the arena. Plenty of food options line the outer ring of the arena, and a small portion is actually a mall with some options for shopping. There are so many choices, but I'd avoid the place with Slug in the name. Can someone explain this to an American? I would never go a restaurant with the word slug in the name. Starbucks in the main entryway is a very busy place, but was my morning routine while attending the conference. Inside the arena proper, you have a variety of seating areas. The 100 levels have relatively large seats with plenty of legroom. I was actually surprised by how comfortable I was in these areas. Up higher in the 400s, you'll have less space, but great views. Be careful standing up, especially if you have problems with vertigo. I didn't enjoy the upper levels, and mostly remained seated during sessions when I was seated up top. There is a clear security presence in the arena during events, and I am thankful that these people are alert and aware. Outside the arena, there are also many shops and space for walking. It made for nice breaks in between sessions. Easy to get to on the jubilee line, you won't have a problem getting in or out of the arena area. read more

The O2 Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena mainly used for live performances from some of the worlds biggest names and is London's flagship arena of that sort - served by the North Greenwich Underground Station which has Emirates Air Line Services and is also on the Jubilee Line if you want the more conventional way of London travel. It's the second-largest indoor venue by seating capacity in the UK after the Manchester Arena - but by comparison, this is much better. Unlike Manchester, this was also involved in the 2012 Olympic Games in London when it was known as North Greenwich Arena, due to sponsorship regulations. Parts of The O2 remind me of the Manchester Printworks, you walk in and there are multiple shops, restaurants and cafes - on the lower floor you have a flagship new concept O2 store who sponsor the arena as well as most restauraunt chains from Caffe Rouge (outside the arena), Ask Italian, Nando's, Gourmet Burger Kitchen as well as others including Starbucks - the upper floor and towards the Arena entrance includes brands such as Adidas, Nike, Whittard and Paperchase in the Icon Outlet. You really can come here in the early afternoon and spend the whole da here - perhaps shopping in the Outlet, dining in the restaurants, a coffee at Starbucks and then going to the Cineworld Cinema or watching your favourite artist perform - the inside arena is restricted and it is a shame they don't allow you to take any food and drink in, and bags are restricted as it means having to buy overpriced food inside which is a much more restrictive selection - do bear in mind if you're visiting here on the same day as an event or concert then restaurants don't allow vouchers meaning they cost much more than if you dined elsewhere in London, so if you can allow time do try getting off the tube one stop before/after at Canary Wharf who has most of the same restaurants in the shopping malls (Jubilee Place) built into the tube station complex. The world's biggest arena by concert sales even ahead of the UK's largest arena in terms of capacity, Manchester Arena and the hugely famous Madison Square Garden of NYC really is a solid place - yet it is let down by being smaller than what it looks and probably could sell (security or construction regulations), other regulations with food/drink/bags and it being overpriced by London standards do let it down, but still it is one of the best Arena's I've visited and warrants four-stars. read more

PETER KAY O2 ARENA PETER KAY SUNDAY 2ND JUNE 2024 THE WORST CONCERT / SHOW EXPERIENCE EVER I would like to point out that this is a review of the venue and not about the show which was excellent. I have attended so many concerts around the world that I have lost count. However, this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE ATTENDING THE O2 ARENA FOR THE FIRST TIME. IF YOU HAVE BEEN BEFORE, WHY? 1. We travelled to the venue by tube from Central London which was excellent. So I cannot comment on the car parking situation. AND THEN THE PROBLEMS BEGIN 2. We have O2 priority, so approached the gate (Entrance B), while queuing we attempting to retrieve our tickets (QR code) on our mobile phones. We tried both the O2 venues wi-fi and mobile data but nothing would work. We asked at the gate and they said that they were having problems and we would have to go back outside to collect our tickets from the box office. Fortunately, we had been forewarned that this often happens, so we had taken a printed copy of our purchase as proof. So, now with tickets in hand we queued again. 3. Once past the ticket check we moved onto THE BAG SEARCH. We were OK but the couple in front of us had two packets of sweets confiscated. Of course you can repurchase them at inflated prices once inside! NOTE - CONCEAL THEM OR LOOSE THEM. 4. Once we had negotiated, check-in, bag search, been through the scanner and had the full strip search, we were asked if we would like to go directly to our seats or visit the O2 Blueroom? We requested the O2 Blueroom as we had downloaded the 20% off drinks discount for Priority Members. "Sorry, Sir, the O2 Blueroom is currently full but there are plenty of bars upstairs" was the reply. WHAT HE FAILED TO MENTION IS THAT THE 20% DISCOUNT DOES NOT APPLY TO THE OTHER BARS! "Two small bottles of water, please." "Yes, Sir, that will be £3.00 each and I have to remove the tops" "That's OK, but can I have the tops so that I do not spill any of this 'liquid gold' on the way to our seats?" "No, sorry, that is not allowed." "What? Why?" "It's the rules!" 5. After carefully negotiating the steep stairs down to the rear of the stalls and managing to keep our 'liquid gold' filled bottles intact we were shown to our seats. We had fantastic seats just to the left of the stage in Block A1 (stalls), so as you can imagine NOT CHEAP! But guess what? Nowhere to store your bottles of 'liquid gold' so you end up either having to drink it or hold it! 6. The show begins, excellent, but do not dare attempt to photograph / record Mr Kay or the 'GESTAPO' patrolling the stall area will intervene and they are not that polite! NOTE - THE NUMBER OF GUARDS ON PATROL INCREASE SIGNIFICANTLY AS THE SHOW REACHES ITS FINALE, SO MUCH SO IT MAKES YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE! WHY DOES MR KAY VALUE HIS IMAGE RIGHTS SO MUCH THAT YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE PICTURES? SUMMARY I WILL NEVER (REGARDLESS OF WHO IS APPEARING) SEE A SHOW AT THE O2 ARENA AGAIN. TOTAL RIP OFF WITH EXTREMELY RUDE SECURITY STAFF. read more

I visited the O2 arena to watch a concert and was assaulted by a group of the security team. Whilst finding my seat in the area, I accidentally missed a step and fell over. A member of the security team immediately dragged me out of the arena because the fall had made me a 'security threat' to other spectators. Another 5 security team members then felt the need to forcibly carry me through the arena and outside, severely bruising my whole body during the process and at no point did I resist any of this. Once outside, the security team continued to throw me onto the ground outside, splitting my eyebrow open and leaving me with a permanent scar on my face. The ejection and the way I was treated was completely unnecessary and brutal. I have emailed the o2 to which their reply was: I am so sorry if you feel as though you were wrongfully ejected but our security team had concluded that your ejection was appropriate and lawful and so unfortunately, there isn't anything I can do to assist further on this occasion. read more

The 02 is "Breathtaking" and "O So Amazing!" We were here for the #nittoatpfinals and had an opportunity to experience this venue. From the arena to the shops to the restaurants to the cinema to the climbing experience, this place has it all. And.....I think I ate the biggest hotdog I have ever had loaded with steak and chili and cheese during the match! If you are able to get here for an event make sure you give yourself enough time to enjoy this fabulous entertainment experience. At the 02 Store, my son had an opportunity to experience virtual reality tennis. It was funny to watch him and the other kids, who think they are great gamers, look silly while playing this game. Since the weather wasn't nice today, spending the day indoors was perfectly fine and super fun. read more

One of the set pieces of London's fab skyline, you might have seen the O2 when it was still "The Millennium Dome" in the pre-title sequence of The World Is Not Enough where Pierce Brosnan lands on it after falling from a hot air balloon. It is located on the Greenwich Peninsula and is accessed easily from North Greenwich station on the Jubilee Line or from a Thames Clipper. Nowadays, the O2 is an entertainment complex with a cinema, concert hall, restaurants and nightclubs. At the moment, it is home to the British Music Experience and the Titanic exhibition. The O2 Arena seats up to 20,000 and has been used for large stadium-sized concerts and sporting events. There is also a smaller club-style venue, the IndigO2. It's going to be hosting several of the Olympic games too. It is the largest dome of its type in the world. There are 12 support towers (12 hours on a clock face), 365 meters in diameter (one for every day of the year) and 52 meters tall (one for every week of the year). The roof itself is apparently lighter than the weight of the air underneath. From the air, you simply can not miss it. Once inside, it's bigger than you would think. read more

I recently traveled with my fiancee to London from New York to see the Monty Python Live reunion show, which was playing at the O2. Usually when I'm seeing a live performance the most thought I put into the actual venue is finding the address so that I get to the correct place. Luckily, the O2 was actually a very nice arena and made the absolutely amazing show a bit nicer experience. The O2 has its own subway station, which made traveling here quite easy. There are multitudes of other things in the area, including movie theaters, restaurants, and you can even climb up the side of the arena (for a nominal fee of course). Pedestrian traffic in and out of the arena was fairly brisk considering how many people were there and the all of the staff we encountered were quite friendly. The prices for food and drinks inside were high, but that's universally seen at any sports arena or theater. I will say that their idea of nachos was pitifully bad - mealy chips with a watery "cheese" is just pathetic, but I should have known better since I was in London and not the States. All in all, it's a pretty good venue and I would definitely see another live performace there if I'm ever in the area again. read more

The O2 charged me a staggering £10 at the bag drop. They have implemented a new "safety" policy where any bag over an A4 format will have to be dropped to the bag drop. I have complained online, requesting a £10 voucher, but the O2 has declined my request. This charge is absolutely outrageous as far as the regular customer that I am is concerned, especially in a context where the inflation rate is over 9%. When you've purchased expensive tickets, I'd expect bag drop to be free, or £1 to 3, at the very least. Disgusted read more

I came to to see The X Factor Live Tour yesterday and it was amazing! The O2 is a pretty decent venue as well. We got there pretty early as we wanted to avoid the pre-show rush, but it was still busy! We were still super early, so we popped into Cabana for dinner which was really good. It's like the Brazilian version of Nando's! To get into the actual arena, you have to go through a security check where they will take your food off you. There is a sign up saying "no food or drink past this point" but when you get into the waiting room, they are flogging popcorn and ice cream at £4 a pop! The show was really great - Saara Aalto wowed with her crazy balloon set-up and Honey G was hilarious! I recorded a little bit of every act which was a good idea as everyone was different! There was a good crowd but there were still quite a few empty seats in some blocks. If you are going to use the toilet, go before the show starts as the queues were pretty long at the interval and at the end! I did like the O2 but it was extremely expensive, for example, I wanted to buy a programme but they were £10!!! read more

And if you scream "oh" during the inevitable intimate bedroom encounter that transpires, I will scream O2. In that sense, this stadium is very personal to me. I've been here when it first opened as the Millennium and then more recently as the O2 and I must say that it's a much better use of it these days. They could have done so much else with it, but anyway... the sheer visual spectacle of seeing this thing on the river banks is unmatched. And then of course it was in The World Is Not Enough to great effect. So it has to score 5. Up at the O2 is a new experience that seeks to get that extra bit of value from having such an iconic building. You can practically imagine how this idea was bandied around in meetings till they settled on the idea that it would be a great idea to let people climb over the "white elephant". The climb nearly didn't happen for our group because of the wine. Note, if the wind is above 40 mph, then they halt all upcoming walks until the wind level drops to a level below 35 mph. It's a bit of a silly system, as wind for one constantly changes. One minute it will be 50, then a few minutes later, into the low 20s, then back up. I'm sure when we actually started the walk, the wind MUST have hit above 35mph, but they're for sure won't walk you down when you're already a third of the way up. :/. What it DID do however was delay our walk so we just missed sunset on our "sunset climb":(. So a suggestion, if planning to do the sunset climb. Don't book the "sunset climb", book one or two sessions before that. You'll spend a good 30 minutes or so at the top, so you're sure to hit sunset by the time you're at the top. Anyway, you're first taken to a briefing room, where you're shown a humorous video about safety and how the event will plan out. After this you head to the room next door to get all your gear on. You end up looking (and feeling) like an astronaut. Then it's up and outside to start the climb. The climb to the top takes around 15-20 minutes. It can get quite windy up there, but the line is super secure with no risk to you. I like the fact that the platform you walk up is bouncy. Almost like it's trying to replicate what you imagine it should feel like to walk over a great big tarp. But importantly has the important function of reducing the amount of weight upon the actual O2 structure. At the top, you realise the O2 isn't really that high. But it's fine because the views are great. Particularly over toward Canary Wharf. They even let you take your mobile with you to take pictures, safely stored in a arm pouch on your suit. It was very cold so the suits given were extremely welcome, but on a warmer day, I'm sure it would get quite hot inside them. So for sure, only have a t shirt on. You'll probably regret anything thicker. So in all, it's a good experience and one to tick off the bucket list. I didn't love it that much that I would outwardly recommend it to others, but I would say it's one of those to do if you're already thinking of it. It isn't cheap however at peak times, so if you can try to do it on a weekday. read more

This place is pretty special. First of all the O2 is the best reincarnation we've yet seen for the beforehand ill-fated Millennium Dome. The O2 is fast becoming London's première music venue. The line ups for gig's can simply be described as the best you will ever see. It is the home for super club Matter, and some of the best exhibitions in the world have graced this architectural wonder. There is a cinema and a multitude of mid-range restaurants and eateries to keep you topped up before a gig. Due to the sheer size, it is almost impossible for the place to hold a buzzy atmosphere. Yet once you enter one of the many attractions, there is certainly fun to be found. read more

We stayed not far from The O2 and on our way home at night, we wanted to go for a movie. The nearest Cineworld was at this place. It was my first time at The O2 as I never get to come around here when in London. I thought it was just the arena. I was surprised to find out it's a shopping centre. Not just one or two shops but lots of shops and restaurants. We got the last screening at the cinema as the one before was booked out. Had about an hour to spare. Decided to go for a meal. Looking around for places to eat and most were closing down. Las Iguanas was still opened for another hour or less. Ate there. Ofcourse the famous O2 arena is in there and it's one of the big entertainment venue in London. Lots of big concerts and other shows take place here. It is one of the biggest arenas. It's hard to write a review of this place, as it depends when you go there as to whether its any good. Go there for a concert and its fantastic watching the gig but there are too many people so you end up queuing for all your food and what's available within the arena is pretty poor. Go there at any other time and its a bit dead but all the restaurants are empty and it's easy to do what you want. It has a good Cineworld cinema, plenty of parking (which can be pricey) and is quite a pleasant place to be... But the biggest problem is it lacks decent independent restaurants and shops. The usual chains are there and there are some less well-known names but they all serve pretty rubbish fare... So I've given the place a neutral 3 stars! read more

The o2 Centre is one of London's leading events centres. Everyone from Celine Dion to Kings of Leon have played the stage in the massive stadium situated in Greenwich. The last time I was here for the Kylie Minogue tour, and boy was it great. Thanks to some friends we had a box, fully catered for and with a prime spot to view the show. The staff in the box were great - serving Grey Goose cocktails and even taking icecream orders at interval. The box itself was plush and lovely, with vases of flowers, couches and great seats on the balcony from which to watch the show. The centre itself is quite stunning, with the entrance to o2 under big light installations and neon lighting. A must-see to view any big-name concert! read more

This is a great venue, absolutely no doubt. Easy to get to, easy to get out of and in spite of the huge size only the very top tier seats have 'unacceptable' views. The food and drink concessions however, are ridiculously expensive and I totally disagree with the policy of confiscating food and drink items on entry. The O2 knocks Wembley into a cocked hat. The perfect venue for any performance. War of the Worlds was fantastic and, need I say it, The Moody Blues were, as always, superb. Plenty of restaurants and bars around the venue. Plenty of car parking space, although expensive. read more

Been here so many times and always in awe with everyone's concerts and acts. Today here for Olly Murs (a little gift for my nieces) and yet again I have had so much fun and come out thinking I like Olly Murs as he's great on stage and well cheeky. Food is over priced in the arena but expected. Try to go to one of the lovely restaurants before a concert it'll be better for your wallet and to your taste. read more
