My daughter decided she wanted a nose ring during Spring Break, April 2023. I thought about it for a few and agreed to it. Not thinking the shops would be open on Sundays, this one in particular, I believed opened at noon on Sunday and there was no wait for this piercing. No appointment was needed and the young lady my daughter spoke to on the phone was precise and to the point - she answered all her questions without hesitation. We arrived to the shop about 1pm or shortly after. Because my daughter is not over 18 or over 21 - I cannot recall the age limit in which a parent must be present to provide consent... but we both had to show ID's and our names needed to match (our last names). I filled out a few forms and my daughter picked out her jewelry. Overall, this process took maybe 30 minutes if that. From the time we walked in to the time we left... quick process and my daughter was pleased. She was able to take a friend to the piercing room with her to ease her nerves. But she said she only dropped one tear, but the process was fast. She really did not know what to expect, but she has no regrets. It's been a few weeks now and everything is still checking out. I wish I could give them 10 stars!! This was my very first tattoo and I was pretty nervous. Everyone was so nice and so cool. My friend went with me and they greeted us both so nicely and there was just a great vibe about this place. So Matt was the guy who gave me my first tattoo and literally the tattoo gods must have hand picked him for me. The loud machine is what gets me more than the thought of the pain, well he had a new gun that made literally no noise!! That was the first thing thing that gave me hope I wouldn't bolt. Next, his table side manner(bc I don't know what else to call it) was phenomenal! He had a cool vibe about him and he was very calm and was able to keep me calm. He drew what I wanted and it came out even better than what I had in mind! Everything was super clean and I felt like I was in good hands from the start! He told me everything I need to know to take care of the tattoo afterward and just over all he was just amazing! I am already planning my next tattoo to get with him. I've gotten pieces done from Jamey, EJ, Kaira, and Rick and all the artists are bad ass. The shop is clean, professional, and a great atmosphere in comparison to the other shops in the 757. Their prices are great and quality of tattoos are 10/10. I have never needed to get a touch up on anything. I've heard good things about their piercings but don't have any myself. My sister and I was recommended by my friend who is a patron there for years to see Nate , the owner . We were excited and nervous because it's our first tattoo . We arrived 30 mins early and was told by the front girl that Nate is running behind and won't be ready until 3 . We weren't very happy about it because we're not from the area and drove all the way to Suffolk to find out we have to wait . Nate came out and told us to come back and said we won't regret it. He sound promising and friendly so we left and came back at 2:45, sat and waited until 3:05. Nate finally came out and told us to send him the tattoo so he can get a sketched done. I showed and explained to him how I wanted it done and he went back inside . It was a very simple lotus flower and our last name added at the end . He said it would only take about 30 minutes each. We waited another 10-15 minutes until he came out with the sketched. We made a little correction on the font and on how I want it . He seemed a little irritated already and went back inside to do more sketching. We waited for another 15 minutes finally he came out to show us the final sketch. I told him the font was more bold than I asked for. I wasn't being rude or difficult, he kept saying it's just a sketch and got a attitude. I then showed him the same picture of the font and he didn't bother to look at it. He got very irritated and asked how about I draw the font for him. He told us we are nick picking his artwork and feel like we are in a rush. Rush? Really we waited for almost 2 hours for him . Then He told us that he won't do our tattoos anymore because we nick pick his art (which is so untrue).We made corrections because we wanted to be on the same page since it's permanent . We were in shocked of how rude, impatient and unprofessional he was since he was the owner . We should have not waited that long . What a disappointment and a waste of my time ! I asked for my refund and left. I'll take my money elsewhere . If I have the option to rate a zero star, I would!!!! read more

The guy there was just nasty towards us and so we just turned around to leave. The only reason this gets a two star rating. Is because one of the works apologized on their behalf.
