We have been shopping at these outlets for decades. Many of the shops have turned over, leaving empty storefronts. However, some new stores have moved in, like Generations of Furniture. They also still have Old Navy, Chicos, Talbots, Pepperidge Farms, Under Armor, Christmas Tree Hill, Gertrude Chocolates, and others. While this shopping center isn't as robust as it once was, it's still fun to walk around and look for bargains. read more

Unfortunately, some of the more famous brand stores have been shut down. Under Armor and Bath and Body works have fantastic deals. The Christmas Hill store is definitely worth visiting, you'll most likely spend a lot of time in there. They have free horse and carriage rides in December (certain days and hours). The car shows are great, they have a food court and also 3 restaurants off of the outlets. I hope they get new tenants in the empty stores!!! read more

Although, as others have commented, there are fewer stores than in the past, the ones that remain still offer excellent deals. In particular Eddie Bauer, Chicos, Retreads Surplus, Michael Kors, and Under Armour had some outstanding discounts. Putting aside the actual savings I was really impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of EVERY store employee I met, whether I made a purchase or not. Having just been to a similar outlet mall (Leesburg Premium Outlets) in Virginia a couple of days ago the difference was stark: in Leesburg there were more stores, fewer deals, and much less friendliness, unfortunately. Week we were on our way to Hershey for dinner and going to Gettysburg first to walk around a little, on our way down the highway we noticed the outdoor market in the parking lot at the outlet so we made a u turn and came back. The parking lot in the back of the outlet was packed with antique and other vendors, seriously if you were looking for it I think you could have found what ever antique you were looking for. Took about 2 1/2 hours f to walk around and see all the vendors afterwards we drove down the main strip of the outlets and it just looked like a desert. They need to take all the outlet stores and put them at one end, there are so many stores empty. It would be a lot les walking and more convenient for all the stores to move to the front of the outlet fill in the empty stores and close down the back half and if a store wants in well there's a spot for them. read more

Have to say less impressive than it was. Used to find deals here. That no longer is the case. They have a good amount of stores. Personally my favorite is the Bass one, as the price and quality are appropriate. Yet even they are becoming less of an outlet. As for the mall, it's never totally too busy. That alone is a blessing. Shopping without crowds is always the best thing. Parking is also a cinch. Now it's more of a rest stop for me on trips to Pennsylvania. read more

We came here to browse and possibly do some shopping. Per COVID we were follow social distancing and wear our mask. Well we found some individuals who didn't follow the rules. We explored a few stores and tried to avoid stores that were over populated. Some of the stores were not so welcoming and I felt like my presence was not welcomed. I do not care to be followed or asked a gazillion question before I could even lay my eyes on any of the merchandise. This outlet is smaller than some of the ones I have visited. Plenty of parking and the design makes it easy to just start anywhere and make your way around the place in a loop until you're back at your car. All the usual outlet mall brands are here, including the As Seen on Tv, Old Navy, Big and Tall, and Coach. And while it's neither the Tanger Outlet Mall or the Premium Outlets Mall people, it's still perfectly good. There's a food court, of course. read more

Smaller, quaint and well stocked outlet mall right outside of Gettysburg. Not as pretentious as the Premium Outlets in Leesburg or near Phikadelphia, but well worth the trip. Over 60 stores in an easy parking outlet mall. These include American Eagle, old Navy, Izod, Eddie Bauer and many others. Friendly and spacious. Another best thing is no tax. Amazing for Pennsylvania... Free WiFi on the small food centre. read more

Before heading home from our weekend in Gettsyburg we decided to check out the outlets. They were located a few miles out and in the opposite direction from home but it was early and we had some time on our hands. It was a quick drive off rt 30 to route 15 and immediately off the exit. The outlets were constructed in a way that's very different from other retail shopping mails. The outlet was set up like a city street with retails shops on either side with single pull in parking on both sides. There was one way in and to exit you could either turn around or drive behind the buildings where there was more parking and circle your way out. We did have a bit of confusion leaving. Regardless it was easy to park right in front of the store you want to shop at. We visited several stores within the complex. Hubby went to the food court to get some coffee but found it closed. Apparently overnight there were multiple robberies at the stores and the authorities were using the food court as a command center while they investigated. Despite this situation the stores seemed unaffected and were operational. While I don't shop retail too often the layout, selection of retailers, and easy drive would result in me coming here again. read more

Quaint outdoor outlet shopping center that is tax free for clothes if you want a break from large outlet centers such as Hagerstown Premium Outlets. Some stores are going out of business like Bass and Wilson Leather. But some new stores have opened like Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors. Good deals were found during Labor Day weekend at Bath and Body Works, Van Heusen, and Pepperidge Farm. I used to love coming to these outlets. Once upon a time they were well maintained, and it was quite a quaint shopping area. Today? Not so much. Most of the faux brick crosswalks are in disrepair, and the number of empty storefronts is just alarming. Most of the old standbys are gone (GAP, Harry & David, Bass, VanHeusen, Dress Barn, etc.). I was so disappointed this trip. The food court has always been lacking, in my opinion. Now, I doubt I will make the trip again anytime soon. Felt more like a ghost town than an outlet mall. It's an OK outlet mall, some stores aren't even outlets, looking at you Old Navy and GameStop. The layout is kinda off, it's just a long strip and parking is tough at peak times, so you may be parking at the complete opposite end, which isn't a big deal because it isn't huge. But, there are some decent stores and bargains to be had here. The food court smells so off putting and the bathrooms are kinda meh. We stop when we have time or have a coupon, but don't make special trips here when we are in town. read more

Overall we enjoy the outlet shoppes. However in the past there was some better options for stores. Under Armor is the main store we prefer going to. The food court is much better nowadays that it has several great options! Recommend adding some handicap assist openers on the food court doors as we watch someone in a motorized cart struggle to get in the food court until others stopped to help. read more

This is a teeny tiny little outlet strip mall right outside of Gettysburg. They don't have much, but the stores they do have are pretty basic; ex: Old Navy, Eddie Bauer, American Eagle, Claire's, etc. IMO the only thing worth stopping for here is their chocolate shop: Gertrude Hawk. Go to Aunt Annie's, the short girl immediately had an attitude and was very rude. It's been awhile since someone's spoke to me like that, for these business' the last thing they need is rude employees. If you work in retail/food service if you don't have the basic common knowledge to be kind to your customers than don't work there. This outlet mall is on the small side when it comes to outlet malls. I also have to point out that a good amount of stores here are not outlet stores. Kind of a disappointment. I was excited to see this after I checked into my hotel room because it gave me something to do when I needed to kill some time. All stores have entrances that open up to the sidewalk, no hallway connecting them which can make for a great quick stop for one store if that is all you are coming here for. Each walkway has an awning which makes is nice to walk if by chance you encounter rain. Music pumps from the speakers that run throughout the complex which makes for an overall mall feel. There is also a food court area which is indoors and shared by several different establishments. If food court is not for you a short distance away is a Fridays for sit down service. Also in this area is a hotel located near the front, Country Inn and Suites, and a gas station, but the gas station cannot be accessed from the parking lot up here as they have it blocked off (I have no idea why). Parking is ample, shops aplenty (although I think they could use more with an expansion), and a decent ease for traffic flow. read more

We really love stopping by this place as we visit MD from NJ. First, they just have a fabulous collection of stores that we love: Eddie Bauer, Brook's Brothers, Adidas, and Under Armor. Of course, you save 100% by totally avoiding shopping, but the Under Armor store here has really good deals on items you really want. I've been to these outlets a couple times. I've always found parking either inside the storefronts or on the outside. It's a fairly small outlet mall area and can be covered in a short period of time. I usually stop into Carter's, Famous Footwear, Christmas Tree Hill and Harry And David. There are definitely some deals to be had, but some stores seem to offer little to no discount when you consider how much they've jacked up the regular price. Bathroom I went into seemed clean and there's a few which is good. There's also a baby changing table in both restrooms. I've never eaten at the food court so I can't speak to it. All in all it's not a bad outlet mall if you're in the area or not super far from it. read more

I seem to shop here a lot, but that's mainly because it's so close to home and I'm in the Gettysburg area quite a bit. If I live farther away, I probably would choose somewhere else to shop. It's a pretty small place for an outlet mall. The shops are pretty basic compared to other outlets in the area. They have Old Navy, Adidas, Under Armour, Coach, Carters, Lane Bryant, etc. My main place to shop when I'm here is Torrid. I love their clothing and it has been a GREAT addition to the outlets. They have a pretty small food court that only has a few places in it. There's also a Quiznos and a TGI Fridays, but I would recommend going into town and checking out a local Gettysburg place, like the Dobbin House. If you're just passing through, or live pretty close, then this is a good place to shop. But if you're from outside the area, I would not make a special trip here. You'll probably be disappointed. read more

I'm going to assume that none of these people that gave this place 4 or 5 stars have ever been to a "real" outlet like Owings Mill, Anne Arundel, any outlet in Florida or anyplace for that matter with more than ten stores. I understand that different people like different things but with 20 stores (one of them being the Civil War Store) this place is not for real shopping. This place is ok if you are on vacation and forgot to pack something other than that abort because your feelings will be hurt. If you are semi trendy the only store to actually shop in for 'fun' clothes will be Gap and Old Navy ( and depending on your style those two stores may be questionable).... You may go into Under Armor and/or New Balance in an attempt to stay within the size ranges offered in those 2 stores and then you may go into the Bath and Body Works in an effort to save your nose from the results of using the items you purchased at Under Armor.....Thats it. With only 20 stores the parking spaces are in an abundance. Worst case scenario if you are forced to be here for more than 13 minutes there's a TGI Fridays nearby to help ease the pain. read more

For an outlet mall nearby, it isn't bad. Some reviewers here noted that this outlet mall is a bit small, and that's reasonable criticism. However, I like the smaller size and streetscape format that this outlet mall offers. For being so small, there are many stores that cater to the middle-income crowd (Old Navy, Dress Barn,Cater's/Osh Kosh, Eddie Bauer, etc.). If you're looking for high-end shopping, this outlet mall wouldn't really suit your needs. There is a food court with Subway, Corrado's Pizza, a pretzel place, and a BBQ joint in it, so you can snack between stores. There is also a TGI Friday's on the property for sit-down dining. At the rear of the property is a nice theater, which would be a nice entertainment option for children. This outlet mall has a Pepperidge Farms store, of which I'm a big fan. They offer Pepperidge Farms cookies, crackers, and breads at ridiculously low prices (they sell a lot of Goldfish products too). For the middle-income shopper, this is a solid choice in a walkable size. read more

I purchased a pair of $100 shoes for $50 at Bass, a $60 shirt for $12 at Van Heusen, and a $150 laptop bag for $50 at Wilson's. This outlet center is the size of a small strip mall. It is laid out nicely, but there is very little close in parking. We visited a handful of stores and were disappointed in each of them because they were not real outlet stores. There were very few great deals but they took a lot of digging to find them. It would have like to see a restroom and a few quick restaurants. I don't quite get the "outlet phenomenon" because they are not really outlets. When I think of an outlet, I think of a store that sells, at a deep discount, the things that didn't sell in the retail stores. Now companies make merchandise especially for outlets which destroys the entire outlet experience. The chocolate store was great, but I am not sure that is worth stopping for. read more

went there on a Thursday for the First-time, if you don't like crowds you should really go there- no people at all. Not sure if i would go again-not many Clothing stores for my taste. Great children stores and they had awesome sales(my sister just had a baby,so found a lot for her ;) ) I was really surprised how SMALL the Food Court was.Old Navy was more expensive then the one we have in Westminster, really liked the Tommy Hilfiger store and GAP and fell in LOVE with the CAPE COD CRAFTERS-that store is awesome, they have just EVERYTHING, if you need a special gift or one of a kind piece for your house - you have to go there! read more

I'm a New Yorker and we're used to our Woodbury Common Outlet aka massive amounts of shops high end and lower alike in one place. This place did the trick, it gave us our consumerist need to shop and even had a little Gettysburg tourist shop that took care of our souvenirs needs but I wouldn't trek too far to get here. If it's on your way then great but otherwise I wouldn't drive many miles to make it here. read more
