Walked into this establishment for the first time to buy scope rings, get my 30-06 bore sighted,…read moreand was planning on making many other purchases before my weekend hunting trip to Texas, but was greeted by a manager, not with a "hello, how can we help you," but rather with an "I wish you would have come sooner, we're going to close soon." Time was 5:30pm, shop closed at 6:00pm, mounting the scope and bore sighting the rifle took less than 20 minutes, even with a "new employee" doing the task. I understand the frustration of a "last minute guest" before close. I had just gotten off a 12 hour shift myself and I obviously didn't want to take up anymore of their time or mine. I even called ahead at 12:15pm same day to make sure they were fine with me coming at 5:30pm. I was assured that they would be able to bore sight the rifle and it wouldn't be an issue. Clearly the manager thought otherwise. Good inventory of fire arms and accessories, but I'll take my money elsewhere.

I bought the gun for $765 under MSRP. They shipped it to my FFL dealer and I picked the gun up. I saw there was only 1 magazine with the gun but didn't sweat it because I thought they would make it right. I called them and told them the issue. They said they made a mistake and there was only 1 magazine. He offered to send me a shipping label and they would offer me a full refund. I told them I didn't want that and just wanted the gun and magazines that I bought, as they had listed it. They said they didn't have them and couldn't get them. I told them they had access to the internet and the magazines were in stock on all of the websites I checked. I told them it was not fair that I should be out money for my FFL transfer fees just because they made a mistake. These guys offered to pay my FFL fees and to pay shipping for me to send the gun back. I told them I already shot the gun and did not want to send it back to them. They were willing to be out over $100 just so they could get the gun back and then resell it for more (probably could make another $300 on it). I even offered to meet in the middle and take one magazine. They again refused. They only wanted to get the gun back so they could resell the gun and make more money on it. Very disappointing they would not do the right thing. They just wanted to leverage their mistake to make more money. When I pointed all this out the gun on the other line got real quiet and didn't even refute it. I really expect more from a gun dealer. I just wanted to rifle and magazines that were listed in the auction. This is the "cost of doing business" for these guys. If the business makes a mistake then they have to eat the cost, not the buyer/customer.

During the recent COVID crisis, Blue Line remained open with slightly diminished hours. In spite of the fact that most gun stores were picked clean by frightened citizens, Blue Line maintained a good supply of firearms for sale. Two other gun stores I frequent had to close for several weeks after they basically ran out of product to sell! Prices at Blue Line are always reasonable and often much better than competitors. I recently made a purchase and compared prices at several other Nashville region stores....there was no comparison and I confirmed my belief that I got a great deal on my purchase. If you are looking for a new or used firearm, ammo, holsters, similar gear, give Blue Line a look. Good people, good gear, good deals. That's the trifecta for me!
