Recently, I've taken advantage of the indoor seating and WiFi to get some work done. Both times were a couple of hours before closing, and it was relatively quiet--great for focusing. Since the renovations, though, I've noticed the seating area has been slimmed down. While it's still a nice space, I can imagine it feeling a bit cramped during the morning rush, so plan accordingly if you plan to use the seating for a coffee date or even to work.

To credit the staff, they grudgingly refunded the amount of our meal, and were testy about our complaints. They seemed to not care because they said "if you ever decide to come back again" which shouldn't ever be said to any customer. We make the choice to come, and we felt like the restaurant is trying to cut costs through using cheaper ingredients. In this case, a lot of poorly cooked and soggy potatoes. We were not impressed. Maybe the other items on the menu are much better? Scrambles had their own box on the menu, and seemed to be their signature dishes. A lot less potatoes would be a major improvement. Better yet, hearing feedback from customers and acting on it, even better. Most of the fixes are simple. Adjust the ingredients. Everything needs to be served much hotter! Once we had our fill of cider and burgers, we strolled across the parking lot and wandered into this little gem. Right away, my buddy and I shared a flight of whiskies while pondering life. Well... actually, pondering why I haven't heard of this place before and I can't wait to bring the queen of my empire here! I actually bought a couple of bottles of the Cold Brew Whiskey to take to her in Texas. She'll be so happy as much as I was when I first tasted this. We tried some of the locals finest and even had a Cold Brew Iced Whiskey with some caramel sauce... SO DAMN GOOD! We also had the Blackberry Bramble! Dudes!!! Dangerously refreshing!
